Nope. He won't get into a position where he has a boss, period. Why would he? He doesn't need more money, by losing control of his freedoms of speaking. Joe loves having a voice and giving that to others...mma fighters comics, etc

Bari cant hire anyone to revamp CBS MSM News.
Long gone are 60 minutes. It quit being truly objective and investigative years ago.
Bari cant fix that the MSM will never be trusted again.

He frickin talks to the coolest people in the world and does podcasts while tripping on psychedelics. Why would he give that up?
You don't think he can do 60 mins and put out a podcast?

Rogan would never do this.
I think this is the opposite of what is happening. CBS desperately needs legitimacy and they are looking for Rogan to do so.
Rogan's reach is infinitely better as a long form podcaster compared to some 3 minute sound bites on a failing network.

This gives him mainstream legitimacy in a way podcasting alone never could

quote:I distinctly remember spending weekends on my grandparent's farm, I knew the exact time my momma was on her way to pick up is, when the tick-tock of 60 Minutes started on Sunday afternoon. We immediately got a sad feeling because the weekend fun was over. I've never watched an entire segment in my life and haven't tuned into CBS for anything other than sports in years.
I’m sure someone already posted this, 60 minutes was enjoyable. I can remember watching it with my Grandmother when I was a kid. I also listened to NPR regularly for years. That was 30-40 years ago.
Both broadcasts swung ridiculously far left, I can’t remember the last time I watched or listened.
Click and Clack was comedy gold

Rogan's show has double the viewers of 60 minutes, not sure what kind of legitimacy a dog with fleas would give him. Other than baby boomers who are utterly delusional and think the former mainstream media is still telling us the truth.

This seems like an awful fit unless 60 minutes is going from dry suits and sleepy stories to hosts in tshirts, tripping on acid and pounding scotch.

I do believe the format will change. It has to.

Yeah…..Rogan is much bigger than 60mins. That’s laughable.

They should host the all new Megyn Tucker Show

Too many censors and filters unless they pay him a RIDICULOUS amount of money. Rogan likes to say what he thinks.

No way Rogan signs up for that. Why would he?
Yeah, I'd be floored if he actually accepted their offer.

Do they have billions to pay him after settling with DJT? Would they allow him to work part time? He has many side gigs already. Would they be willing to change their whole philosophy?
