After Rogan embarrassed Bari Weiss when she appeared on his show, no way is going to be an employee of hers.

No way Rogan signs up for that. Why would he?

Rogan has seen exactly what happens when people like Colbert and Kimmel sign on with a big outfit and become beholden to big network (big pharma) money.

He is one of the OGs and an absolute goliath in the podcast game, and it has made him generationally wealthy. You are correct, he would be a moron to give it up for a gig at XiBS under a corporate umbrella. And say what you will about Rogan and his opinions, but he's no moron.

I don't agree with Rogan on a lot of things, but I can say that he's consistent. I could never imagine him selling out and losing his ability to express his opinions as he sees fit. That would be antithetical to everything he has done to gain the clout and popularity.

But I will say this- if the Establishment were able to pull him to XiBS, it would be a monumental win for the narrative control apparatus.

My parents aren't even boomers.

CBS has to replace those viewers somehow and as you’ve shown in this thread, you’re clueless about modern America and media.

NO ONE under 40 would even consider watching CBS unless there is a live sporting event on it. If you are consuming cable/network TV outside of live sporting events, you are the outlier, not me.

They wouldn’t consider watching CBS in its current form. They would if Joe Rogan were given a prime time slot and told to do as he wants.

That isn’t going to happen so this entire thing is moot, but you’re an idiot if you don’t think Joe Rogan would bring viewers.

Exactly, he’s already bigger than they are.

If they are in fact pursuing him, it would be a classic case of a “if you can’t be em join em” thing. Which is what we want tbh. Hopefully they’re realizing finally that they will die in their filth if they continue it.

I still think they don’t get him though. This is CBS going for the S+ option.

He'd bring his die-hards sure. And lose the core audience, which is over 60 and liberal.

Again, no one watches cable/network TV, and won't start because of Joe Rogan.

About 9 million people watch 60 Minutes weekly.

About 11 million watch each Rogan episode across platforms. He usually does 4 episodes per week. So 44 million views.

Plus his shows are 2 to 3 hours. You think he will be happy doing a 15 minute segment once every other week or so?

They want him there so they can control him. That's the only reason.

No one cares about Joe Rogan or 60 minutes as a function of the population. He's a moron, and that show has sucked for a decade if not more. Both are irrelevant.

Joe Rogan has 11M views daily.

60 minutes has 4.5 views… weekly.

He’s the biggest draw in podcasting and dwarfs CBS from a news standpoint.

Ok?

Both represent a negligible portion of the population.

In reality basically no one watches either of them.
