This would change their ratings very quickly. It Will Be GLORIOUS!!

quote:

For Rogan himself, the move would be transformative.

"This gives him mainstream legitimacy in a way podcasting alone never could," a branding expert told RadarOnline.com. "It's a whole new platform – primetime, institutional credibility, historic prestige. It elevates his brand from disruptor to establishment power player."

Another source added: "Rogan doesn't need 60 Minutes. But 60 Minutes might need Rogan."

Bari Weis Makes An EXCELLENT Decision. MAYBE!!

Scott Pelley is UPSET and DEMONIZES Bari Weiss For Her DECISION!!

No way Rogan signs up for that. Why would he?

They can try all they want...absolutely zero shot that Rogan would do this. He has so much money now and doesn't have to deal with anyone breathing down his neck. The only reason he even does UFC is because he loves the sport.

No chance. He doesn't want to go purely political

I don't think this would make financial sense for CBS. Rogan would cost an enormous amount of money.

Please no... that he is powerful from the outside is his exact appeal.

The only way Joe would even consider doing that is if he had complete control. And I don’t see CBS doing that.

Rogan swears by long format being the best way to discuss anything. Unless 60 minutes is going to 200 minutes I don’t see it happening.

There's no chance Rogan will do this.

He frickin talks to the coolest people in the world and does podcasts while tripping on psychedelics. Why would he give that up?

Would be a great way to get even less people to watch 60 minutes, not that its possible.

Obviously he would have to do both. Which is another reason why I would never see it happening. It’s just too much. The gym, ufc, the family, etc

ETA: also the comedy club. Dude just lives his dream.

Joe would be cool with a little 15 minute segment on 60 minutes, if your on 60 minutes you aren't doing it for the money

He won’t. This is leftist cope. Those idiots alienated a guy that was reliably left leaning and are now scrambling to get him back.

Yea, Joe Rogan is going to bring people back to 60 minutes

You know, you would come across as reasonable if you didn't blindly engage in culture wars.

No one cares about Joe Rogan or 60 minutes as a function of the population. He's a moron, and that show has sucked for a decade if not more. Both are irrelevant.

No one under 65 or 70 watches 60 Minutes. Their format is a dinosaur relic from before there was even cable TV let alone the internet, podcasts, and You Tube. CBS is still far to woke and far to stodgy. Rogan makes enough money already.

I’d watch if he hosted at least to start.

The reality is you boomers are dying off. CBS has to replace those viewers somehow and as you’ve shown in this thread, you’re clueless about modern America and media.
