This talking point is working in the polls. Once the election is over, the Canadians will come to Trump, hat in hand, to make a deal.

The housing market plays a huge role in Canada's economy—especially in places like Toronto. Here's a breakdown:
1. Direct Economic Impact (GDP Contribution):
Housing-related activities—including residential construction, renovations, and real estate services—make up about 9% to 10% of Canada’s GDP.
That’s a big chunk, comparable to oil & gas or manufacturing in national importance.
The housing sector is a key pillar of the Canadian economy. In Toronto, the dependency is even higher due to years of rapid growth and high valuations. That’s why policy-makers (like the Bank of Canada) watch housing trends so closely—it’s not just about home prices, it’s about economic stability.
Signs that may indicate trouble (or at least a cooling market):
Inventory Surge (76% YoY increase):
A big jump in listings often means homes are sitting longer. That can indicate waning buyer demand, which may pressure prices downward.
Sales Down (37% YoY):
Fewer transactions typically signal buyer hesitation—often due to higher interest rates, affordability issues, or market uncertainty.
Longer Days on Market / More Supply:
This tilts the balance from a seller’s market to a buyer’s one. Sellers might need to cut prices or offer incentives.
Price Volatility Despite Higher Supply:
If prices are still rising (5.1% YoY) despite slower sales and more listings, it may be artificial—driven by a few high-end sales or a lag in price corrections.

I wonder what Canada will do if they ever get invaded.

That's fine, Canada, but if we catch you messin' around with that no-good China, we're gonna kick your asses.

Do y’all realize how difficult it would be to defend the entire northern border of the United States? Not that we need to defend it from Canada, obviously. Their threat level is negative.
But if they were to allow it to be a staging ground for whatever actual power we go to war with, we’re talking about entirely different dynamics. We’d probably need to deploy a third of our forces just to defend that northern border. It’s a massive defensive line.
Not happening.
First, WHO is going to attempt to invade us through Canada? Realistically, only Russia has even the opportunity to do that and even for them it would be a Herculean task.
Second, if they decide to cross through the Arctic Sea, they'll have to do it during the height of the summer months to have the best chance of getting through the sea ice. And no, the scary "climate change" monster hasn't fulfilled the prophecy of AlGore so there's still plenty of ice during the summer.
July 2024
Thirdly, the US military has dozens of satellites in geosynchronous orbit over the US. A mobilization large enough to actually threaten us hanging out in Canada would not only be easily noticed, but it would be noticed well before the force was able to build up to a concerning size. In other words, we would see them coming long before they could be ready to threaten us.
Fourth, WHERE will they begin to stage their invasion force? The US has more than enough air and naval power to keep the Gulf of St Lawrence locked down. This means that any incursion into Canada would likely need to come from the Arctic Sea or through the Northwest Passage into the Hudson Bay. There may be three roads which lead from Hudson Bay into the Canadian interior. Outside of those, there's no roads connecting Canada's northern shore to the interior. This means any force moving that amount of troops and equipment to Canada would be forced to enter at some place where they would need to build roads out, use small 2-lane roads for an insanely long drive or fight the US military to get a toehold on Nova Scotia or something. And, again, all of this would need to be done during the summer months before they end up being little more than appearing on an expanded episode of Ice Road Truckers.
All this is to say that if anyone is going to engage in a land invasion of the US, they are FAR more likely to stage in Central or South America then come up through Mexico. The 2nd to last thing they would do would be to come through Canada (the last thing would be an attempt at a naval invasion).

I’m convinced at this point that you now worship at the alter of the CCP.
Canada will collapse without us.
They are an OT 3 gold digging whore.
As for an unprotected border,
WE protect them. Their military budget is pretty much non-existent.
The sooner we kick those leaches to the curb, the sooner they collapse. The quasi-communist government up there will collapse with it.
This is good for America…period, end of discussion.
Only a political simp (Roger the commie) would disagree.

It's like when a rich parent finally makes his spoiled child get a job. They throw a fit. This is Canada and these posters wanting us to continue the gravy train for Canada is the enabling POS mother.

We can literally shut down their main pipeline that runs West to East.
Because in the central portion of the USA, their pipeline dips into our states and does like a “U-shape” then back into Canada.
These are some cocky Globalist, and I think they are gonna have to get humbled soon!
