Sadly, we have not. We temporarily stopped the Jihadist Regime from manufacturing nuclear weaponry, but they can easily buy it or Bio Weapons as long as they are in control of the oil.
Bottom line: the Jihadist Regime must go away. Albeit the Idea of a World Caliphate will always exist. At least until great pain persuades people that such is basically suicidal. The Second Coming will deliver that Truth.

Present day Eye-Ran (thanks jimmy carter) has been a scrouge on the Earf that has been bullying a part of the world that is critical to not only our national interests but the free worlds as well for the last 50 years.
Plus, we are hitting our enemies, mainly Chyna and the Rooskies, where it hurts most. In the pocketbook.
I for one still remember the bombing of our Marine barracks in Lebanon.

Plus, we are hitting our enemies, mainly Chyna and the Rooskies, where it hurts most. In the pocketbook.

Technically we were never there and most of the action is from standard forward deployed units. We always have ships out on standard deployment rotations and troops in countries abroad. We haven’t put any boots on the ground in Iran and haven’t had any ships permanently inside the SOH.

We can argue back and forth about whether or not Midnight Hammer was effective. I'm sorry to see you disparage our Air Force. But you do you.
If it's about regime change---which it clearly is---why not just level with the American people?
At least 90% of Iran is Shia Muslim. With what regime are we going to replace this one...and how?

What’s bizarre and has me thrown for a loop is the media coverage has died down drastically, at least on all my algos.
We do not watch the news. Essentially ever. Yet we used to always get these updates. It’s essentially silent now.

Hell, even for those that think Iran who was enriching uranium way above what is needed for anything other than a nuclear bomb and won't budge on not getting one in the future, even ignoring that Iran is the country sponsoring terror beyond what any other country is. They have killed many thousands and that includes American citizens. Isn't that enough? It is and always has been. I just never thought we would have a president with the balls to do something about it. We finally do.
Forget protecting the world, which we are, we are extracting revenge . Remember the Cole, remember the hostages, remember Beirut, remember the american killed in the Israel attack, remember the service members killed be EID.s. Is that not enough?

Israel was going to hit Iran whether we helped or not, so the higher gas prices were basically inevitable because of Israel. The part that disgusts me is that we, our country, is part of the murdering of 10's of thousands of innocent women and children. I would have had more respect for Trump if he had told Netanyahu to pound sand.
Oh, and if you believe Iran was 2 weeks away from capable nuclear weapons then you also believe that Iraq had WMD's. Iran has only been 2 weeks away from nuclear weapons since 1995, per Netanyahu.

No, I just recognize that a nuclear Iran is a huge threat…to people who aren’t me and who don’t seem to be interested in doing anything about it. I will fight alongside allies to save them. I am not going to fight against my allies to save them from a threat they have no desire to fight. There is a similar principle in relationships: I will fight anyone for you, but I won’t fight you for you.
If Europe wants to allow a belligerent power within ballistic missile range that can sever their access to fuel at will to have nuclear weapons, we should let them f$&k around and find out. Iranian missiles are a threat to Paris, Tel-Aviv, and London, not DC, NYC, or L.A.
If Israel wants to fight a war, let them, but it doesn’t need be our war.

Iran's Islamic Republic having nukes would be a 1000 times worse than North Korea. The only way that will actually prevent that is regime change.
