Honestly, if he is the type of person that would leave his team during their best run in history, playing for a national championship, then I want him out sooner rather than later.

Saban had to fire him before he left for FAU. Cost us another Natty but he wasn't doing his job. So, you should have known. It was clear for everyone to see.

kiffin has never seen a pressure cooker like the job he is about to step into if rumors can be believed. Like I said, hope he has an ironclad contract after LSU kicks him to the curb in less than four years

He coached at Bama as an OC, USC as a HC, UT as a HC, and the Raiders as a HC. He's seen it all. LSU is not too big for Joey Freshwater. Just lock up your wives and daughters.
Is TxA&M the only SEC team not to play Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or Ole Miss? They are the next best teams in the SEC.

The LSU AD visited for quite awhile in Saban's skybox last night. And I'm certain the offer would be there if he wanted it. But, I also believe he's done with coaching.

it's about who has more money.
its also about evaluating talent but money has definitely changed the equation. I think an easy fix would be to change the portal rules. Only 1 move and if its to a team in your conference you have to sit out a year. Money will still be a factor but this would limit its effects.

Congrats on the win vs USC.

Your program was a pubic hair away yesterday from being in the exact same position today as LSU. We got a head start on you for the rebuild that we will both be going through in the next few years, thankfully.

And how much of a lead does Bama have over LSU in the economic war now? We didn't have to pay anything to change out coaches. How much did LSU and Auburn have to pay to do the same? Its in the mid 8 figure range for both programs. That's how much y'all are behind. Not to mention your entire roster is up for poaching. I suspect a few of your best players will end up in Tuscaloosa.
Lane created it for himself going 7-1 so far. He's done a fantastic job. But, im sure Sexton doubled this opportunity for him with these other openings popping up.
They did yesterday but gave up 42 points last week to the pigs. So, who knows?
I remember the first one in 92' wishing we didn't have it because it could only hurt us. Thats double true today. Even if it doesn't knock you out you could get a key player hurt. Not to mention you might have to play the same team twice. And I hate redos.
The CCs are only good for the lesser team to get in the PO, if out going into the game. Other than that its now a worthless game.

It means Auburn is a loser like you guys were before Saban fixed your program. There's not anymore Sabans out there. And if there were would he go to Auburn?
And all this time I thought he was a democrat.
I'm making a Pavia voodoo doll. I'll be sticking it with needles the whole game. How many points is Vegas giving us? oh, wait.

Athletes today are cut from a very different cloth than when I was their age they're very different than college players from previous eras.

What makes them different is the portal. Coaches have to baby their players to keep them on the team. In the past coaches wouldn't allow players to talk shite and get their opponent to focus more during practice. Its just stupid as hell.

24 yr old Pavia is the best QB Vandy has ever had. Hes a true dual threat QB and will score points against us again. But, we have a score to settle from last year. Our guys know if we don't bring our A game then we'll be in a dog fight. I expect us to play really good, Bama 42-21.

Your 2025 gauntlet has begun

They don't play Tennessee, Ole Miss, Bama or Georgia. Looks pretty easy for a SEC team.

Julio Jones had issues with drops early in his career at Alabama.

Julio was playing with a broken wrist at the time. Dropping passes can be like the putting hips. Your hands become almost numb. It can be hard to overcome especially by someone who had a severe concussion recently. I hope he beats it soon or he'll be sitting out a lot more.

It was clearly unconstitutional when congress handed those powers over and this is the first time it’s being challenged at this level

Says who? You?

Sounds like major precedence here and SCOTUS gives a ton of weight to precedence.

Drinkintz reminds me of a high school volleyball coach. But, he's getting 100% out of the talent at Mizzou. Results are what matters in this game.
