I've never bought a Springsteen item: Not a song, album, download, merchandise, concert ticket, etc.

Pretty sure the lyrics of born in the USA actually outed him as a commie supporter a long time ago. People just focused on the chorus and didn’t really pay attention to the rest of the song, which is easy to do due to his lack of vocal ability.

I think what has really shocked me over the past 10-20 years is realizing how many Americans are clueless and shallow, without knowledge.
