My fear is if you target them, they start doing terrorist attacks against soft targets inside the US as retaliation.

Making drugs illegal has never worked ever in the history of mankind. It’s a waste of time and money. Escalating the War on Drugs will only increase the price of drugs thus increasing the revenue of the cartels. Again, if you can get drugs in prison, you will never keep them out of the country.
Money is better spent on prevention, education, and treatment.

I've made this ^^^^ suggestion several times on this forum over the past 10 years and a lot of people didn't like my suggestion, but it truly does make more sense than spending trillions in the Middle East, Ukraine and other countries.
I think it's better we bring the US to the millions of oppressed people making the dangerous trip to the US southern border....these illegal immigrants in Central and South America want to live in the US, stay put, we'll bring it to you.
