Appraisals?

Even a lower appraisal doesn’t necessarily mean it’s due to someone building a duplex next door (and it would have to be *proven* that that’s the reason.)

County government NOT changing zoning laws in areas like Potomac, MD where they (board and council members) live and which is a very exclusive area = PROTECTING THE POLITBUREAU = COMMUNISM

What does this have to do with a story about a county in California enacting universal regulation reform in their county?

Jealousy of what? Be specific
I have a ski house in CO. Im just not an a-hole who pisses on people with less money telling them to make more money or move
And fwiw, I replied to your comment because it was the last one in the thread, not to associate you with my comment. Im sure you're a nice guy outside of shitting on people that work low paying jobs

No clue, but I haven't had to look into it.

Appraisals?
Market value tables pre vs post?

Isn't this exactly the argument about abortion now being a state issue?

You're relying on government to disrupt the market so that it benefits you personally.

Now apply that policy preference/defense on a larger scale.

By a preponderance of the evidence. It’s not that difficult.

I’m not in favor of illegal immigrants either but that’s another discussion.

I’ll just conclude by saying, denser walkable towns with a mix of housing options, businesses, retail, etc. can be pretty nice. You should get out of your cookie cutter suburb sometime and try it.

Rich “arse holes”. Clearly.

Telling someone to make more or move is not shitting on them. Supply and demand has been around a long long time.

That doesn't really apply here.

The supply is a function of government. Not the market.

I don’t think so…..if we agree on zoning laws then we can also agree on baby murder. Still a local issue decided by the community.

How about a strip joint in the middle of a residential neighborhood? A biker bar? A trailer? How about a mini tent community for the homeless? Define anything? Are there any limits? Remember we are cutting the penises off children so there has been a loss of common sense in society.

If you bought a home in an area under the pretext of a certain zone then you absolutely should be outraged.

We need less regulation to promote building more housing so that the value of housing decreases substantially and becomes more affordable

In new developments? Okay.

In existing ones - perhaps, but I would be against it in many instances.

So using the government to intentionally decrease people’s property values is good in your view?
