Balkanization of America - Why it would be a good thing

Europe has 22 countries with populations smaller than Louisiana.

Europe has 42 countries with populations smaller than Texas or California; Europe has only 6 countries with larger populations.

Yet…all of these 50 or so countries have their own military forces, their own sovereign borders, their own trade agreements that benefit their populaces, their own right to determine their national interests and so on.

Our Constitution was hijacked after the War Between the States when the 14th Amendment was ratified by states run by Occupiers, Carpetbaggers, Scalawags and other sundry characters.

This talk of state secession or a national divorce sounds strange unless we look at Europe. As we have many states with larger GDPs then most of their countries - and we all know would be even more productive if we removed the shackles of federal regulations and international trade agreements.

The biggest barrier I see to accomplishing this is the current balkanization within the individual states such as the ailing cities that drain on every resource and are artificially propped up by Federal welfare programs and the myriad of grants and loans.

These parasitic cities will not want to be part of the states whose populations vote to secede. Maybe they can become their own city-states and continue their implosion while the populations surrounding have healthy border protection and visa controls.

Just my musings, but when we have evil clowns like Biden saying we need F-15s to protect ourselves from the Federal govt, I agree and raise him one by saying let’s secede!
