This doesn’t effect loan/grants given to individuals
They are doing this to investigate where the money to NGO’s are going

Are you expecting to get a refund check in the mail because federal funds were (potentially illegally) paused?
yea thats it....or maybe we could stop wasting money on things not voted on directly by congress
of course you could stop being a dense douchebag just for the sake of being a douchebag too.

"Return on taxpayer dollar is probably less than 1%."
Probably the same with FEMA ect. What we are witnessing will be talked about for years to come. A total remake of the Fed. Hope this is a 12 yr project. Will be glorious to watch.

have a relative that has a fed job based on a farming or landtype grant.
He works from home and does absoluelty nothing but draw a check and go out and look at ponds/land to see if they need a pond in a small county in Arkansas. He "moves his mouse" a couple times a day and draws a check.
Please provide a link so I can apply? I will actually drive around a lot looking at beautiful, undeveloped land. That's my happy place.
He worked for the state but moved to the Fed job around covid I believe. Seriously all he does is go out and plot and look at ponds. He has the job because the money is there and no other reason. Im sure it dont pay a whole lot but hes been milking it for over 4 yrs now. I think he covers three or 4 counties in Ark. Will be interested to see if his job is effected.

The proof is in the pudding - LSU has gone down academically. Ask around. Lots of woke majors. Lots of students without test scores bc of Covid. Petroleum Engineering program has been surpassed by several schools - TAM and Texas Tech are 2. My kids went to LSU bc I love LSU and Louisiana and they do too. The school has gone down through. GPA is no way to judge a student for admission. Test scores are only thing that puts everyone on same playing field. Jesuit classes and LB Landry’s ain’t the same. A 19 on ACT shouldn’t get you in a LSU when you drop the score requirement.

Oh no……well I guess some collateral damage is to be expected when you are trying to root out the money laundering. You sound like you grift faucet has been turned off!

Prove it? Just because some are smarter than you, stronger than you and more qualified than you don’t make them dei. That’s what you put in your head to make u feel secure that you superior to others when you know you are not!
How would we know since the hurdle for “select demographics” has been lowered so much? I mean we have a Supreme Court Justice that can not define a woman all because she is black and female!

A little bit of hyperbole but not that far off; Without environmental regulations and protections; the waters and air quality of the US would look a lot like India's or China's. It is the responsibility of the US and State to protect public resources.
One word……bullshite!

Winner winner chicken dinner.
If I was an NGO working to “settle” illegal immigrants I would be highly worried. Better yet the politicians that sponsored the bills that fund them better figure out how to hide the graft!

Sir you are truly informed. Back in the 80s and 70s, lsu was an open enrollment university. They have continuously improved their academic performance since then. Lsu wasn’t even ranked in the top 200.

How can you call yourself a Christian and be so racist? Do you really think you are smarter than Mrs Jackson who graduated from Harvard university. You can’t even step on their campus.

That's wild. I know a biologist for Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and she absolutely works her arse off for minimal pay, but she's doing what she loves so it's more than worth it to her. She might be trapping feral hogs in southern Oklahoma today, electroshocking a small river in eastern Oklahoma tomorrow, and turning over rocks in western Oklahoma on Thursday to collect measurement and population data on the Barred Tiger Salamander.
If you told her to just drive around, plot and look at ponds, she'd quit.

In the interim, to the extent permissible under applicable law, Federal agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance, and other relevant agency activities that may be implicated by the executive orders
I think a big issue is that the wording of the memo is too broad so there is a lot of misunderstanding about who it affects.

TAM is probably the best engineering school in the US at this point. It is also the largest by body count and one of the best funded.

Does this include NGO money?

Yes, this plus it’s an illegal order.
