Pretty unique story here as he was a very pro gun person. Until his wife(us rep) was nearly assassinated.
I'm not sure how large pro/anti gun control crowd is these days, maybe Trump is immune to it, but he's certainly not a pro-gun policy person.

Newsome is so smooth talking even though he was a disaster for California he talks a good enough story that people will still vote for him.
If trump does a good job, Vance should win.
If things don't go well, well th democrats have a chance.
I think the democrats almost lost because they knew there was going to be budget/ money problems and they didn't think anything could be done. So they thought let the Republicans take the hit and they will come back in 2028.
They didn't figure on trump being this trumpy!
