A 21-year-old in Santa Ana was permanently blinded in one eye after a DHS agent fired a “less-lethal” round at close range. He underwent six hours of surgery to remove plastic, glass, and metal embedded in his face.

I wonder what it was that he did, that resulted in being in the presence and close proximity of federal agents in the performance of their Constitutionally-sworn duties, and resulted in said agents having to use forceful deterrent measures against him? Just like Renee Good, it sounds like this mostly peaceful protestor could have avoided this situation entirely by, you know, minding their own fricking business and turning off CNN.

Turns out, rioting in the streets is not the same as running your suck hole on the internet.

You can’t attack police and expect no consequences.

Where has this been lost in translation?

Why did he think it was a good idea to try to interfere with an arrest?

His fellow LARPers on Reddit told him any charges would be thrown out due to "no standing" and that there will be medics dispersed throughout the mob of ghouls in case he needs treatment.

He's lucky he is breathing after what he attempted to do. Sucks, but there are consequences to actions. He was not an innocent bystander.

Yep. Maybe one sourced from a corpse in war torn Somolia. Extra virtue signaling points.

Attacked the officer with an object in his hand and should be grateful he didn’t die.

And if the officer had sustained a permanent injury from this twat, the left cheers.

This ^^^ is an important point. If an ICE agent dies or is seriously injured at the hands of protestors the left and their Gaslight Media partners will frame the situation to show the ICE officer deserved what he got.

That's the whole thing with all this shite. If you go out to a place where there's a shitload of law enforcement, armed federal agents, armed military, etc. - THIS IS THE KIND OF shite THAT HAPPENS!

It's a powder keg of crazy bullshite going on and half the people have guns and weapons. If people go out there and antagonize them, get them stirred up, whatever... this kind of stuff happens.

I like my eyes, ears, arms, etc. I like my life and I want to keep it. You know where I'm NOT going?! Is any of this bullshite worth your fricking eyes? Your arms? Your life?!

Yeah, it looks like the officer was firing into the mass coming up the steps and this guy just ran into the line of fire.

Marginally-related question.

Why was the ICE agent dragging the obviously-injured kid across the pavement by his shirt collar, rather than leaving him where he had fallen and thus in a position to get medical care?

Trying to get him away from that violent mob I assume.
