Without the contemplative aspect of the legislature-elected Senate, it may well be that the 19th would never have made it through Congress.

Oh hell yes. Men could be men without being held down by very liberal women willing to use state government resources.

Absolutely. Feminism has made women miserable. Any ideology rooted in grievance and resentment makes people miserable. Their misery has spread to our Institutions and captured our young women-now they specialize in hating their fathers and agitating for socialism. Just more misery. Misery merchants who don't even understand the questions, but who have all the answers.

I asked what I asked: would the 19th have passed if the Senate was still the representatives of the States rather than another direct representative of the people?
Any inference of whether I support the allowance or banning of women in voting comes only from you.

Search my username and "repeal the 19th" and you should get lots of hits.
As for feminism, government needs to incentivize marriage (male to female) and stay at home moms. Tax credits/subsidies - whatever it takes.
Barring prescription of psych meds.
Completely changing school curricula to promote traditional gender roles.
