I'm beginning to look into buying stuff for duck/teal season and am wondering if any of yall can share some good deals to be looking out for. Specifically in terms of shells and decoys

Sadly, I got out of my duck lease this year due to me moving further away, and saving for a wedding/honeymoon. But I plan to get into another one closer to where I will be living next year, as long as things with the new job work out as planned.

I'm moving for a new job, and wouldn't be able to hunt much due to six day work weeks right now. And trust me, this new job will allow me to get a much better lease next year. And I chose to get out of my lease, my fiance' is still under the impression that I'll still be in it as of right now. I just dont want things to get too tight financially while having the moving expenses, etc...

Plus, there's always fishing

Was browsing Mack's today and saw several brands of shells with rebates of $5/box.

Speaking of MPW. That is one place that is on my bucket list to go.

I always thought about making a 3-4 guided trip to Arkansas but it seems most of the decent priced guide services are hit and miss. I spend too much cash on my leases here in Louisiana to pay for one of those $ 750 plus a gun per day guided trips.

You need to be checking out deals on shells on Rogers sporting goods website, better than Mack’s I find typically.

I’m not ready for the grind of the 60 day season but I’m fired up for blue rockets next month

I've put my lacrosse thru some shite for three seasons and they're holding up. Before that, I had Cabelas brand, and they're still good. Let my brother use those when he's in town.

Simmons usually has a big sale before the seasons start. I'm not ready for duck season but ready for duck season weather.

Go to Academy. Buy waders. The breathables and the neoprenes are legit waders btw. Keep box and receipt. If they leak or if you do something to make them leak, take back. Academy staff gives zero fricks on returns. If they don't have your size on the return, they will give you a gift card so you can go to another Academy to replace.
