Agreed. Also with the 20, he'll get back home and be wondering what all those painful nicks are in the bends of his fingers after grabbing line all weekend.

Started out learning to catch trout with these nearly 30yrs ago. Still use them from time to time and they still work just like they did back then.

This and appropriate mono leader for the task, except for wadefishing. 12lb mono for that. Braid is a PITA if you backlash while standing in the water.

Wigwam. I have some too and they're great socks. Funny enough, also from my MIL...

I'll have to check when we get back home after this weekend, but brushing helps a ton for our little rescue mutt. His breath smelled like pogie oil. It was bad.

Is there a bunch of plaque buildup? Have you tried brushing his teeth?

No idea on price, but that was what my son started with and killed his first few deer. He's the 4th generation to hunt with it. Cool gun and great for a young hunter especially - pretty limited on range.

Spoons taste fine to me. Don't see enough ring necks to have a real opinion.

I should say that whether or not I’m going to pass on them depends on how many birds we’re seeing in the area.

Agreed

Launch mine solo all the time and do pretty much exactly this. As mentioned, not pretty, but it works well and I don't care.

It takes a lot of effort to be a "legal" outdoorsman in this country these days. Ridiculous.

It is for most. Good for you and your group, but it's not the norm (NR or Res).

Bit further south, but have been twice with Quepos Fish Adventure out of Quepos Marina (was staying in Manuel Antonio both times). Once for Sails and once for Roosters inshore. Had a great trip for both.

Look at the fish caught by month for the areas and plan based on what you want to catch. Can vary a lot.

high license cost just means I'm going to shoot as many legal deer as I'm allowed to over there. I get my money's worth.

LA hunters in MS in a nutshell right there!

I like to sprinkle a little Cavender's on as well.
Fact. Drive down Hwy90 on a Saturday and you're likely to see more LA plates than MS.
