IDK if I could pull that look off, maybe if I grew a mullet.
I'm kind of leaning towards the Maui Jims

Still using Smith, last pair broke and they gave me a $250 gift card so I got new ones. The ones that broke were only like $100.

Cheap dark safety glasses worth anywhere from $2-$10.

Jomashop website has Costas like 45% off. I just grab a Jose 580g pair every other year off there and use their $10 warranty add on to get new pairs for the next two years

As someone here posted I’m an old school Revo guy myself and I have a pair on the big boat that never come off but I hate them for fishing.
When I was down in South Florida last season the deck hands were wearing glasses from a company called “ocean
eyes” I bought some and they IMO are 80% as good as Costas.
My eyes are more sensitive in my late fifties than in earlier years so I’m looking at some of these recommendations myself.
My 88 year old mother has prescription Maui Jim’s and I’ll have to admit they are better than anything I have no matter how ridiculous they look…??

I wear Rx Breaklines.
I love the Cahaba and Bertha models. Wear both as i interchange them if I’m fishing or driving.
They make non-Rx as well.

hobies.
If my prescription doesn't change this year I'll probably pick up some Oakley prescription sunglasses since they are covered by insurance. I can get Maui Jim's too but I can never seem to find a frame that fits my face right.

Yep, I’m treating it as a buy it for life thing at this point.

They have some very clear lenses and the frames are built well. I have basically been wearing them for over 20 years on a boat 8 hours a day. They also stand behind their product but I have never had a defect that was not self inflicted
They are a little pricy but I think in the long run, its worth the extra investment. I am a big fan of the blue Hawaii lenses on the boat and on the beach. You may want to try on the green and amber just to see what you like the best
My last couple of pair have the blue Hawaii and I love the brightness and clarity

I'm poor, too. I didn't pay for the Costas and before them I was the cheap sunglasses guy. IDK if I could go back to them.
