re: Anyone tried Bombas?

They're hex tec no show socks are my favorite socks for summer. They have a good warranty that is only second to Darn Tough which is probably the best sock company around right now
Nola was so dominant on Fridays he had almost every SEC team pitch off a day, and he was that good for 3 years
To the guys saying "Darn Tough" y'all might wanna check in on their political affiliations and stances on political issues. I abuse the hell out of their warranty still but haven't bought any more pairs in years

re: Standing room only tickets?

After the 5th can sit in any open seats other than the gold seats and champions club seats. Just be prepared to move if the ticket holders come
They would have said they sold them all at 9am online within seconds. We called them at 9:00 when we knew something was off with the zero tickets available.

They tried to save face to the general public posting that "Super Regional tickets" option when they were never available

Last week for regionals as they were being sold thru their site the description changed to "Almost Gone" after a few minutes. It never said that on the site for Supers and still doesn't but it says it for the parking passes.

They just put the option to buy them but never uploaded tickets for purchase. 100%
Saw their post on Facebook yesterday pop up, we need more script tiger and sailor Mike stuff

And some immediately went for sale for $120 and up

I'm more worried that if like the OP said guys are randomly getting tickets sent to their accounts there's a decent chance many won't even see the tickets

So everyone else was not able to get SRO at 9:00am this morning since they were all sold before 9:00am, 8:56am to be exact.

Sounds about right, LSU box office says they sold tickets at 9AM which is what's aggravating. Why even lie?

if you wanna sell your SRO hmu tho gumbo

Zero percent chance any got sold at 9AM, the parking passes haven't even sold out yet, and say "Almost Gone" while the ticket selection itself doesn't say anything other than it did at 9AM
If your motor company warns against lithium batteries an X2 AGM battery from Battery Plus is as powerful as you can get without going the lithium route.

I agree tho the boost pack is a good option if you know for a fact your alternator and battery are working well

re: Alex Box aesthetics wish list?

My simple wish is for a simple large well lit "LSU" on the visible side of the indoor practice facility. That's such a large blank canvas that is currently nothing more than metal paneling

My dad worked there before opening up his own shop, he used to tell me all the time how he wishes I could have seen that place in its heyday
Depends on how your pond is, if beneficial vegetation is scarce I'd get rid of them. Buying a few carp down the line is alot easier than growing grass again. Ask False River about that
How much are you asking for two of the weekend passes?

re: Best saltwater dock light?

We've had some underwater green lights on the lake since 2013 and have probably gone thru 5 bulbs in total (cost around $160 each to replace). It got to the point that I just have one light on my dual light system right now and only turn it on the nights that I'll be using it because it's really not worth letting other people abuse. They're fun to spend a night fishing in, like others have said walking out to a light at 10pm with hundreds of fish swimming around is awesome to see but after you hook one they all scatter unlike old school halogen bulbs over the water.

It's not just the bulb that gets messed up and cracked tho, if people catch the cable to the light and it puts even a small tear into the cable the light has a safety so it won't turn on underwater and destroy the box. With this you gotta pray that either some strong electrical tape will suffice, splice and shorten the cable removing the bad area, or replace the whole bulb and cable.

They make a shark cage looking cover for the light, but all it's going to do is make it more likely for people to hook the light but getting a cable guard might not be a bad idea.

Chatterbait Mini Max with a spunk shad is my favorite pond bait when I'm tired of wearing them out on plastics

It's the equivalent to a jig bite but a lot more active
