That’s cool most people do probably now for the most part but, I let one of our younger partners put on the Breitling I recently purchased and he was so thrilled in the experience he’s now put up a savings account to acquire a Grand Seiko SBGE201 Spring Drive GMT.

A very nice time pièce he can enjoy for a life time.

As someone said probably a lot worse tangible investments out there.

Mines just a small hobby some of the watches people have listed in here cost a great deal of money.

If I spot someone wearing one I don’t get zealous but, rather excited to be in the presence of such a piece.

It’s also nice to be recognized when wearing a watch only people in the know can point out as well.

The richest man in the world wears a day just Rolex as his go to watch $8k.

His sons wear nine million dollar pieces…
DC has a feral youth problem. I visited there in 1981 on a school trip didn’t lose anything to go back for.

Cheap and accurate finding ammunition that gives you the desired accuracy required.

( sometimes they get stolen )

This is my recommendation.

Do a lot of range practice with it as well as you need it for a catastrophic event and you gotta be ready to be able to administer rapid deterrent measures when required.

Good luck and be ready.

Tangibles are investments?

It’s an employee’s market nowadays. The older generation tends to be more loyal and stay longer but the younger generation has high standards with jobs. I’ve been at my current company for two years but don’t think for one minute that if I find a better opportunity that I won’t jump ship. I do what’s best for me and my family, not what’s best for my company. If I die today, I will be replaced in a month. frick my employer, they’ll be just fine without me. I work most weekends and I’m working today (and some other holidays) - I get paid well to do it but I’d 100% take a $10,000-$20,000 a year paycut to be off more with similar benefits. We’re all replaceable and nobody looks out for me like I look out for me. Employers need to understand this is a two-way street and they no longer have the upper hand. If we get pissed off, we’ll just move on.

100% agree with this summary of events.

I’m an old guy in here but, when pensions were replaced by 401ks which were a joke in the formulation years because of hidden, insane, fees, attributed (laws cut out later on).
Good company’s who practiced TQM came up with a true employee profit sharing plan and in the late eighties lit led to magnificent results for all.

This was replaced as more and more companies bought into the six sigma nightmare from which IMO has ruined employee / employer agreements.

Now it’s a dog eat dog world.

A new profit sharing program was introduced this quarter we had 22,000,000 growth.

It’s a joke.

Luxury Watch Guide.

What watches do you ballers currently own?

I own a five digit Rolex Explorer 2 black face with the orange hand box, manual, paper work and badges.

A Breitling Navitimer Chromates just acquired.

As for new watches the Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 126720VTNR "Sprite" is the next prize of the pack IMO.

I want this one over a Daytona or a Hulk!
It’s really because of the lack of civics /American History taught in schools today.

A huge disconnect.

I had someone thank me for my service at a memorial event yesterday and politely responded while thanking them I was here to pay respect for those who died in service and their heroic sacrifice.

We have to teach the populace who our real hero’s are.
I served in the USMC during the years of 1983-87 and we lost people in training accidents some of the best people on the earth decent, capable, hard chargers who would have held viable lives of matter.

I lost an older cousin in Vietnam which was the reason for my enlisting.

A lot of TD members show respect for our departed freedom fighters.
No, it’s one of 5 paid holidays we get at work each year.

Note#

Haven’t had one day off for Covid or any PPP loans either.

I prolly could have gotten one but decided it was sketchy if I could justify it in an audit so passed on that.

Prolly a mistake in hindsight.

Free money went out and the statue is running out…
Because the left are evil in manner and actions, vacuum minded miscreants, hell bent on upturning the cart of the republic.

They want to burn it all down and become one muddled mess of equal nothingness’s.

He gets it but your POTATUS loving ilk does not.

Put that in your pipe and smoke on it.
My Grand Père told me this in one conversation a long time in the past that when they were asking for support of the income tax it was only going to be for those making millions of dollars each year.

They lied then just like they do now.
I bought my first hole at 13% interest rates in 1978.

Paid it off too.

Get back with me when you have a real crisis…
My buddy says it’s because in his church they say if they keep voting blue then one day they think they can take over the country.

They stomach the ugly for possible power and riches.

Straight from the pulpits…
He didn’t win the election, not saying Gore didn’t win his either but my bank account is suffering mightily because of this facade.

Hang up and listen.
You might be onto something…

Somebody should at least bring it to the floor of the House and make a plea.
Told my my mom to stuff it when she was needling me at my grandparents house.
I didn’t know my grand pop was behind me it didn’t go well he put that trench warefare shite on me and choked me out twice.

I might have been a captain of the football team at the time but, hell that 145 lb man born in the late 1800’s fricked me up and set me strait nobody has ever beat me down that easily and scarred me so badly.

Brought me back and did it again…
