Anything they bite on is always good.
I can say
Soft plastic grubs
Mirrorlure
Spoon
Cheap old H&H largest size bettle spins. You can find cards of them on eBay for $4.00 or less. I spinnerbait usually $4.00 so the card of bettle spins are a better value. When it damaged throw it away or keep the spinner to use in the future.

The next guy could say
Whopper plopper
H&H Xyz color
Spoon
Spinner like bait

Really comes down to what they are in the mood for.

I love putting a tiny crab under a cork and watching it dance.

What I like about the gold spoons is it works on several fish at the same time. The last time I went out of Hopedale my brother-in-law and I caught trout, redfish and bass on gold spoons.

Redfish are not the most finicky eaters. Literally just about anything can work if their feeding which is the majority of the time.

Does a Spoon need a swivel to work properly or just tie it on?

I sometimes throw a gold spoon in the basin strictly for bass.

I haven’t fished redfish in quite a while, but gold spoon, H&H cocahoe minnow, spook, and rat-l-trap is what I used to use.

I put a swivel and tie a loop knot. Way more action when you kill it

Pond bug colored No Jack flipping jig with Toledo Special Paca chunk for a trailer. Johnson weedless spoon in grass or a Wobble-rite hammered brass color spoon if weedless isn’t required. Large beetle spin with chartreuse or root beer colored sparkle beetle. She dog or top dog pup. Carolina rigged fresh shrimp.

Bingo! In my experience, if your not catching redfish, it's not the lure. I can't remember ever throwing any bait to feeding redfish that didn't get inhaled.

Redfish motto:
Eat it all and let God sort it out! Case in point, I caught a bull red that shite a good size oyster shell on the floor of the boat....lol. That big girl was hongry!
