re: Benelli or Beretta?

I have two SBE's one I bought in 1995 that I use for flying critters because it somehow always hits where I'm looking. The other is synthetic and setup with a reddot for shooting big Tungsten loads at public land hogs.
I carry in my pocket when wearing shorts. Use a soft coozie for a holster so I don't inadvertently find the trigger digging for my keys.

IIRC that's a 9lb+ rifle so I would look at a light scope like a Vortex Razor LHT.

All Season
If you have bears don't go with lighter than 600lbs and drive minimum of 3 T post to ratchet strap them in place or they will push them over and pull off the lid. I run mine year round but quit filling after the season. Solar panel keeps battery charged and nothing locks up from sitting dormant all summer.

ETA if you don't have bears you can get an economical version from Buc-ees

re: Any Taurus pistol owners?

I had one that had a sketchy safety. If you tried to shoot it double action with the safety on it'd let you pull the trigger then everything would get in a bind. It wouldn't shoot with safety on but in a SHTF situation you could possibly end up with a gun that identified as a brick. Traded it and a $100 for a real beretta.
Don't own a tractor and have never pulled a blade. But I'm from the "It's better to have it and not need it..." school of thought and these ole boys bring up some pretty good points. So, if I ever buy one it'll have offset.

My Go To

It clips to my cap bill and swivels so I can see in bow case while prepping at the truck. It also has red led which doesn't impair my night vision while walking in so I can recognize trees and landmarks without lighting up the entire area.

I like Fitzgerald Rods however, I fish baitcast reels so can't speak for spinning rods.
Seth Micheals picked me up in Jacksonville Fl. driving a Porsche Cayenne. I asked if Uber paid that well and he replied he's in the movie industry and driving uber just to do something during the strike. This was June of 2023. I had to google him but he wasn't lying.
I also have a friend who was a doctor in Venezuala and moved back to the states. He drove Uber just to stay busy while getting his licenses squared away here.
Dreams are private little movies from God meant just for us and should never be shared with others.
I use this style

I have a 3 pin hybrid set to 20-30-40 for quick "keep it simple" hunting sight and use the slider for long distance backyard practice where there yardage is exact and the styrofoam don't flinch. It's available in 5 pin as well.

re: Public Land Target Shooting

Yeah, Im thinking you're wanting to go on public land and shoot like you own the place. That don't happen as far as I'm aware, you have to shoot at the range or do like us and shoot in the backyard.

"We ran preference trials, and we found out that dehydrated pogey fish is what they would leave whole shell corn for, so we made a bunch of comparisons. The whole shell corn was always our control, and we compared all kinds of things to it and the dehydrated fish. They ate the fish before they would go eat the corn,"
Don't worry about what I'm driving, Just get out of my way whether I'm in my F150 or the O'lady's Hybrid. 75 in the fast lane, I drive faster than that on the shoulder getting around pricks like you.

As others have said, I don't care for the cordless. The ones I have used were off balance due to the battery weight and location. I have a Bubba corded and an American Angler. Both work well but with the Bubba I use mister Twister saltwater blades for Bass because the bubba blades will cut through the backbone before you fell it.

We bought a puppy from Mossy Oak Kennels to be a service dog. He came with every paper work, promise, guarantee I know of. They ain't cheap but I think the rascal was born retrieving tennis balls and stealing shoes.

I bought one last year, and the salesman explained it to me like this:
-AR style rifles are considered 2.5 guns in a safe
-Pump and automatic shotguns are considered 1 gun
-Rifle with a scope is 1.5 guns
-O/U shotguns are considered 1.5 or 2 guns

This at a minimum then add a few spaces because some slots just won't work. Examples, shotgun barrels don't fit under a shelf or a large rifle scope hits wall before barrel hits support. Bolts stick into next slot. Scopes, magazines and AR handles occupie the spaces in front of or behind them. I have some guns that can't go on front row because of door interference.
