I just got done speaking with him, they took his license, confiscated his gun, hit him with a huge fine(that he can’t pay), took the deer, plus they gave him a DUI on a dirt road. I don’t agree with him drinking but the rest seems a little overkill.

He's lucky they didn't take away his rights to hunt and fish for a few years.

Can’t afford food, but has money to drink. That’s probably what made the green jeans not believe his story at all.

I will play along with this little fairy tale but I really do not believe any of this happened. But let’s just say Mr. Green Jeans was out there running an illegal meth lab an prostitution ring on public land at 1:00 am. If your buddy admitted he shot not one but two deer to help “feed” his family he is still guilty of the charges no matter what Mr Green Jeans was doing. Can we agree on that?

He’s not out there out of the blue, I’m thinking your friend has done this before, in the same area. That’s why( you guessed it) green jeans was there. Oh and btw, good story mate.

This seems like a weird hill for you to choose to die on. Move on to a better cause.

I would suspect that any normal hunter who needed a deer to feed his family could do it without getting caught.

Jacking around and getting caught makes me presume he was being a jackass with less than sincere motives.

I could be wrong though, he may have just been an dumbass in how he went about it.

No problem. He will spend time in jail with bubba. There is nothing you can say that would justify what he did. You know the old saying. Do the crime do the time

Apparently you’ve never been hard up with a family relying on you to put food on the table. I would bet your sugarass is still on daddy’s teet. This guy is a good guy who was trying to provide for his family. He just messed up.

Your friend stole from all of us, baw.

I could have imagined that friends and family would have given him more than two deers worth of meat if he had put his pride aside and asked.
