F150 by far. The newer Rams have some cool trinkets but two friends have one and I don't particularly care for them when I drove them around. Now their diesels are another story (but id still take Ford over Ram in that respect). Chevy is ok, a few friends have those they don't look particularly good and have had problems, and the interior sucks.
But this is a loaded question because everyone is going to have their own preference based on looks and perceived reliability and drivability. My F150 has been awesome and imo looks better than any of the others listed, especially dodge and those vacuum cleaner Chevys. But in reality, these days it's sort of pick your poison and what looks best because they all have their pros and cons.

I'm sure there are plenty of happy Titan owners. I'm not sure if anything sets the Titan apart or above the rest, other than maybe the warranty you mention. The front end appearance is just so lame to me.

I would ask how long do you anticipate keeping the truck - driving it until the wheels fall off or do you change them out every 4 to 5 years? If you keep them forever - hard to beat Tundras for reliability.
Not remotely nearly the number of Tundras on the road as Fords, GMCs or Dodges, but I’ve never seen a post on this board (or Tundra forums I follow) of a person having to replace a Tundra transmission or engine in the first few years or even a decade +. I can’t say the same for the other truck manufacturers from reading this board and also from what the owner of my auto repair shop tells me.
If you replace your trucks every 4 or 5 years, I’d buy whatever you like best once you test drive them.

Yeah my 05 Z71 with the 5.3 has over 195k and has called resided in 6 states.
I had a 06 GMC that I wish I had never got rid of. GM sure did a number to a great motor with the AFM bullshite.

This is a really horrible way to go about asking for advice. How about you define what you need it to do and the trim level/options you want. That is where the brands really begin to separate from each other and only way to allow for comparison in my opinion. But I'm also still running a GM product from 07 with the 6.2 and have no plans to change it up anytime soon.
I will always go to bat for the GM 6.2 engine.

Only thing I like about Ford is the key pad.
I love being able to throw my keys in the door of my Ford, locking the doors and just walking into the woods. One less thing to carry around.

feel like this is more on the dealership than on Ford, they order them with all the bells and whistles because they know someone will come in and buy them with all the bells and whistles.
Correct. Margins are higher on more expensive trucks. On the other end, they're usually totally stripped down just to satisfy the "buy cheapest one" buyers.
The HD truck market is so much better here. Its downright easy to find a perfectly equipped HD truck with cruise, power windows, Bluetooth, 4x4, towing package, and nothing else. That's how I like them.

My fiancee still drives her little 2004 RCSB 5.3L 1500 Silverado that she got in college. Told her to keep it as long as she possibly can because she won't find anything as reliable today. She's religous about maintenance, changes the oil herself every 5K with a full synthetic 5W-30 and AC Delco filter. Has 150k on it and should easily make another 150k.

My 05 Z71 is extended cab regular bed. Damned if I haven't driven that thing everywhere from the mountains, to mud, to the sand dunes at Pismo Beach and to Los Angeles County for 1.5 years and it is still a beast.
Oh and its on wife #3. It is the only possession I still have as old as 2005.

Her mother has a 2003 with a 4.8L. Told them both they should keep them but her mom's convinced that her truck is just ready to die any minute because I just had to replace the ECT sensor. Barely over 100k on it.

Titan left out (I currently have a 16 pathfinder and am putting Nissan in time out….dont care if titan doesn’t have cvt)
So bwcause you bought a woman's vehicle you remove the best transmission from the bunch.

Gonna order a new F150. Can put pretty much anything, or nothing on it/in it. So, you don't have to submit to the expensive add-ons everybody talks about. Now, bear in mind, a damn pickup still expensive! Gonna get the hybrid. XLT, 300a package and trailer towing add on. 6 1/2' bed. Super Crew, 4WD. About 52K.

Unbelievable. And it seems to be getting drastically worse very fast since 2018

I know man. I can't believe I just said I am going to pay 52THOUSAND dollars for a pickup. My last new pickup was a '99 7.3 SD. Paid right at 31K for it and thought I should be living in it!

Reliability of electronics... Toyota all day
Reliability of transmission... Toyota and nissan. They both are smart enough to buy their transmissions rather than attempt to make them in house.
Engines..... A tie among all. In a V8, none of them make a bad engine. I like the big GM engine and I like the nissan vk, but none of them are bad.
Towing, the toyota and GM will tow better.
Efficiency... Tie for dodge and GM.
Looks... GM.
Interior... Ford and dodge are nicest. Nissan and toyota will last the longest.
Price to fix what you break? Nissan and dodge are cheaper.
Honest answer the only new half ton I'd buy is the tundra. Used: the nissan, you can get screaming deals on 2 year old trucks.
Pricewise I'd just make the jump to the ford f250 with the 7.3 gasser.

That's how mine is, 6.7 diesel, XLT with cloth seats, overload springs, 4x4, cruise, power windows & locks, Sync, center console, & the Ford brake controller.
