re: Kisatchie Deer Hunting Guidance. - TheLSUriot
Last time I hunted Kisatchie was 20 years ago and 25 years ago since I participated in a trail ride up there, so I got nothing to offer. Just wanted to say that this is impressive. Good luck!
GusTheDog Member since Sep 2013 9 posts
...

re: Star Gate: SG1...is it worth it? - TheLSUriot
The Jonas story arc came out of no where because it had to. Micheal Shanks didn't renew his contract for season 6 as he was unhappy about the direction Dr Jackson's character was going....

Season 3? You are starting to get into the best story arcs. Stick with it and Atlantis. Totally worth it....

re: All of us GMC/Chevy guys are seriously underpowered - TheLSUriot
I doubt I ever have another vehicle that isn't at least AWD. Can't speak to the difference between the Escalade AWD system and the 4WD in a Tahoe. All I know is having the 6.2 is worth it if you can get it. That and those new Z71 Tahoe or AT4 Yukons look nice!...

Aquasana Rhino sump wrench - TheLSUriot
Got in a new house less that a year ago. It came with a complete Rhino whole home water filter system with the pro installation set up and UV sanitizer. I've order new pre and post filters but just realized I don't have the wrench to unscrew the filter housings. Can't find it anywhere, but of course...

re: All of us GMC/Chevy guys are seriously underpowered - TheLSUriot
Nearly all Escalades are AWD with the 6.2. There are exceptions over the years where a small % of the short wheel base Escalades were only RWD or had the 5.3. The EXTs I've had were great at hauling boats, trailers, or ATVs in the back....

re: Star Gate: SG1...is it worth it? - TheLSUriot
I remember it as Amazon but could be wrong on that. Here is the video I watched that explains the history of the SG franchise. Totally forgot that SG1 started on Showtime until I watched this video. re: Star Gate: SG1...is it worth it? - TheLSUriot
Do it and don't think twice about it. Follow the guide posted above and dive into SG-Atlantis and the follow up movies too. Recently watched a comprehensive youtube video on the history of Stargate. There was a lot of transition from Showtime to MGM to SyFy to etc. Amazon is currently trying to...

re: Peppervine- How to get rid of? - TheLSUriot
I remember this being asked before and a specific remedy suggested. A selective herbicide needs to be applied to a fresh cut that contains the green ring just under the outer bark. This is the only way to get to the root system. I think the herbicide suggested was Triclopyr. I only remember becaus...

re: Lawn Question - TheLSUriot
Just ran the numbers myself. You are correct at 0.65 grams per 1000sqft for MSM Turf. Thanks! Xtra is basically a factor of 10 from MSM Turf. Recommended low/mid/high rates are 5/7.5/10 oz per acre. I will simply follow the spot application directions of between 4.8 to 6.5 grams per gallon, which...

re: Lawn Question - TheLSUriot
Thanks for confirming the rates for combined usage in St Aug. I did find this quote from a year ago: “ For a full 4 gallon backpack it is 3.8 grams of MSM and .51 ounces of Celsius. There are 3 main weeds where the combo is better than the stand alone product: VBW, lespedeza, and spurge. It is n...

re: Lawn Question - TheLSUriot
Is there a specific amount of Sedgehammer to add to my Celsius mixture?
I have a similar question but about using MSMturf with Celsius Xtra. Of course, fairly mature VBW is the main target with others weeds mixed in. I know it was discussed but can't find the right thread. Found Xtra o...

re: Looking for a Bigger New TV that has E-Arc to run Dolby Atmos that won’t break my wallet - TheLSUriot
Jh22586
Are you the one who was having volume issue with your 960? If so, did you ever get the configurations figured out? I had recently made some changes and re-did the audyssey setup. I have multiEQ, dynamic EQ, and dynamic volume all off in the audyssey settings. No low volume is...

re: Opinions on whole house water filter system - TheLSUriot
General consensus from previous threads has been to make the investment in something like the Aquasana Rhino systems. I got lucky and bought a house last year that came with their top of the line system. I think it would be worth the investment to at least double what you are looking to spend and do...

All these 4-wheel stories are child's play compared to what I did with only 3 wheels back in the day. Lucky to survive the 80's! ...

re: What plants on the river are still down? - TheLSUriot
IB Reeeeeman, Hate to tell you this but you will never live down your TDS inspired rants about how bad Trump's Chinesse steel tariffs were for the US. Even after being shown the strategic advantages and that steel mills were starting back up here in the states and hiring Americans again. On behalf ...
