re: Why do my boxwoods keep dying??

Posted by TheLSUriot on 10/10/24 at 8:06 am
Could be boxwood blight, which is fungal and spreads. I have the same problem with a strip of boxwoods on the back side of my house. But only the plants closer to a gutter downspout have that problem. The ones further away are mostly fine. Which makes me think it is related to too much water at tim...

re: LG OLED vs Sony OLED

Recommend LGs. I loved the 77" LG C3 that replaced a Sony X950 so much, I both another 65" C3 that I didn't even need. It is now in the bedroom. Edit: Just ran across C3 series 65" on sale for $1300 while serching prime day deals. 77" is <$2k [link=(https://www.amazon.com/LG-65-Inch-Processor-AI-...

Still some 2023 models available as new units at significant discounts. I'd recommend LG C3 (2023 model) OLED if you can find one. Passing on this deal since a bunch of Samsung fans in this thread. Woot is a sub of Amazon now. I ordered a 65" C3 for <$1400 from there a couple months back and it a...
Have some work friends that ended up with a coon family in their attic. Thought they were cute and put up a camera to watch. Big mistake; huge. Well...the little ones grew and started digging around. Haven't bought the expansion yet but was enjoying the past couple months leading up to TFS. Finishing up all those weapon patterns was satisfying. Managed to log in on day 1 and start the new campaign even with all the serve issues. But replayed the first mission on legendary a day later to find ou...

I have the full Rhino system in my house. It is worth it IMHO. Similar to this one but there are more basic options for less $$$. [link=(https://www.amazon.com/Aquasana-Whole-House-Filter-System/dp/B00XAJK52Q?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1)]Amazon - Rhino 10yr system[/link]...
I see you replied to me and think I was the second to mention bounce...by a min. I'm surprised no one questioned what bounce you are working with on that wedge. High bounce may not be doing you any favors on tight lies. As I understand it, preventing the leading edge from getting under the ball; very little margin for error. But is buttery out of the fluffy stuff. Just a though...
Great idea to mention those sites. Especially Destiny Item Manager (DIM) and light.gg. Accessing your vault from orbit was a needed QoL upgrade but I still use DIM on my phone a lot since you can acquire bounties from any vendor quickly. Light.gg is my go to when clearing vault space. How do Golf Board posters not know about the wonderful Masters app and website. You don't even have to cast from the app to a TV. Right now I'm using the browser on my smart TV to stream directly. I hate the announcers too. Most weekend I find myself constantly screaming SHUT UP Dottie!!!...

re: Help with a Sony X950

I decided to replace it and upgrade to a OLED panel. Just in time for the Masters! $2499 for a 77" LG C3. IMO it was the best deal out there right now as a replacement. Sony is way behind on releasing 2024 models so the A80 is still $3k. So far it is a very nice TV. But would still appreciate a...
