Yea I expect my trucks to make 250k on routine maintenance and no major repairs.

Only reason I did hoses at 200k is because this vehicle goes into montana and Idaho in the dead of winter. It also goes to moab in the dead of summer.

A bad hose can mean death.

I like the toyota army green with black trim. No chrome.

Don't see many green vehicles these days. Wonder why?

Unless you burn super unleaded you aren’t getting the full output of that rig

If I was buying new right now it would be between a Ram with the 5.7, Titan XD with the 5.6, F150 with the 5.0 and a GM with the 3.0.

Titans are going away, so...

Ford with the 5.0 or RAM 5.7...

After riding in the RAM ecently I'd give it the edge over the Ford if I had to buy one today.

Which doesn't make a damn bit of sense. They finally got the things into a drivable useful truck.

I guess if you put out underwhelming stuff for 10 years no one even looks at it when it is finally good

Sales were so incredibly low it was hard to believe. I think just the idea of a Nissan full size truck didn’t excite or interest full size truck buyers. Nissans are little uncomfortable cars for college kids or ghetto dwellers, or small trucks. The Titan was hideously ugly and didn’t offer anything special over the four established brands so why bother.

3.0 Duramax, but I guess you’re not interested in 27-28 mpg.

Nees to include transmission in the mix. That's where a lot of these trucks been lacking.

The Hemi/8spd is still a tough combo to beat.

The GM 6.2/10spd is a close second if you find one without DFM.

They don't make them without AFM as far as I know which means you are looking at aleast $3-5k AFM delete. And that is on the low end of cost. I would rather not have to get my brand new motor torn in to and the problems that can arise from that.

i love how you just throw in the "fix the coolant and oil leaks" in a discussion about buying a new truck.

Why that oil? Why not the Motorcraft 5w30 per the manual?

As far as leaks, these pieces of shite are nothing but plastic quick connect fittings so it’s just a matter of time.

Always my favorite discussion

"Buy this $65k truck then spend $5k fixing all the shite wrong with it and then you'll have something!"
