When they rammed the back, all baw had to do was lift up on the bow and that tin can is going down.

Disabling their boat by emptying a 9mm into the hull with them sitting in the boat is not an "entirely reasonable" solution. Not when the "ramming" is more "reasonably" described as bumping your boat.

In this situation, I agree.

Now if they were in a much bigger boat, one in which they could do some serious damage or potentially harm you, then I think it would be a different story.

I hope you have more money than you do sense. You're going to need it. I don't think a gel coat repair is worth being charged with attempted murder.
This.

In Louisiana you certainly wouldn't be justified in using deadly force.

All the boys in the bassboat had to do was trim it up and hit the gas when the tards were behind them. Put a big old rooster tail right across that little boat. Would have soaked and sunk them. Been a good video too.

Louisiana has castle or stand your ground laws. These guys were aggressively bumping this kid's boat in a place he was legally allowed to be. Wouldn't they be allowed to use force to defend their castle?

Oklahoma's stand your ground law is worded almost identically to Florida's. I don't think these kids would've been wrong for using force in defending themselves.

Problem is, from the looks of those two skanks that boat's all they have to their name. Not much to collect on. Hell their organs aren't even usable.

All you morons saying you’d shoot the boat are idiots.
Let’s think about the possible outcomes of shooting the boat
1. Shoot boat and nothing happens, maybe get hit with some charges, I’m not a lawyer.
2. Shoot boat, bullet ricochets hitting someone. You either kill yourself, your friend, or get charges with some kind of manslaughter.
3. Shoot boat, trash people in other boat pull out gun and you maybe die.

Sounds like a bunch of good outcomes huh.
When dealing with pieces of shite, it’s best to just remove yourself from the situation.if you want to retaliate in such a stupid manner, like shooting their boat, then you're just as much a pice of shite as they are, so maybe the outcomes I posted would be better for society.

Don’t pull a gun unless your intent is to take a life.

Pull your boat to shore and if those guys follow you over there they better be ready to catch these hands.

If you’re not willing or able to do either, then video them and leave

Those mf'ers would have toted an XD10 upside the head. Ain't no sense in that BS, even if the kids bass fishing were possibly in the wrong.

So if they're being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon...seems like those kids would've had legal ground to defend themselves.

Maybe? Probably? I don't know. It's a tough situation that those kids handled better than I would have.

Will plead down to misdermeaner with restitution, they always over charge and barter. Nothing done warranted deadly force and a sure civil suit that would have gone against the kids in the bass boats parents.
Now, me, i would have dragged a couple silver hooks and had some redneck justice dished out on them boys.
