Aren't you a mod here Supa? What's the deal, inquiring minds would like to know.
Well it hasn't been whacked completely, just anchored. Bookmark thread and continue to post in it. See how long it takes to get fully whacked
Well damn, maybe I should've stayed silent
What's up Frens

ETA: Y'all pulled me back in to venture back over to 8k to most recent bread  I have read through all 56 pages here and see the regular detractors are chirping as always. Didn't realize Thine has been MIA since Dec. (hope all is ok there). Glad to see BoarEd rightfully restored and surprised Chicken has let this one exist for as long it has.

Are we expecting Karlos May?

Gut says no, but I wouldn’t bet against this staff. I think he commits elsewhere and we try to flip him before signing day.

We did 3 days on the Cahaba last year. That river is gorgeous. I'm sure Coosa and Flint are too.

The wet weather in the Southeast makes me very leery to make a long range plan for a river fishing trip in this part of the country.

Devils River and Pecos are dry enough that I feel like they're safe. I would be pretty bummed if we had a trip of this significance rained out.

But admittedly, I am used to how rain affects sandy/silty rivers in the coastal plain region, not how it impacts rocky rivers further inland. So maybe I am fretting about nothing,

Yes, the Cahaba is awesome and I get it about wet weather in SE. I want to float the Flint from Newton down to Bainbridge and set up at Rocky Bend FR Retreat in Newton. Plenty of spots to go put in and fish all over Lake Seminole as well if you wanted to do that. I have fished Seminole a bunch over the years, but never took the Yak to float the Flint for shoal bass.

ETA: also if weather muddied you out on the Flint, you could easily go to Spring Creek on Seminole as it always clear due to fresh water springs and all the vegetation to filter water. In a kayak, I could spend a month based out of Big Jim’s and not touch a fraction of it.
I'd second the Coosa River in AL and add the Flint River in GA.
Not sure exactly wtf you're talking about and why you quoted me. I answered the OP's question. You do you and I do me and I spend twice the $$ in an oil change and filter. I choose to error on the side of knowing my shite is in order. But you do you Ol boy, ain't nobody downvoted your arse for it
5k on my 3.0 Babymax diesel. Still show roughly 40-50% oil life monitor but don't trust it.
I've done some crazy f'd up shite at the club, but never anything bordering getting my arse kicked out. This should be interesting to see how it turns out.
Chad Simmons also with prediction for the good guys in O&B for Ramsier
