re: Hellcat Pro Holster recommendations - SneakyWaff1es on 3/11/24 at 8:02 am Appendix? I really like my Tier 1 Concealed holster. I tried a few different ones - QVO, a mini tuck from whomever makes that one, a crossbreed of some sort. If I was comfortable carrying outside the waistband I would probably use something else but I’m always afraid of it showing. ... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |

re: Garand Thumb stress tested a PSA Freedom Rifle and the barrel finally died at 6k rounds... - SneakyWaff1es on 3/5/24 at 5:45 pm
And the “Duty” thing is overblown. The military isn’t using PSA, and most law enforcement (outside of special duty officers) isn’t ever going to shoot near enough to worry about it either.
I think his point is for 99% of people, that $300 upper is fine. re: Garand Thumb stress tested a PSA Freedom Rifle and the barrel finally died at 6k rounds... - SneakyWaff1es on 3/4/24 at 5:37 am It was shooting over 4 moa. I think the barrel life for an M4 is supposed to be higher than 6000. The NGSW fires a higher pressure round. Obviously the barrel life would be shorter. ... re: Most REAL Dominant National Championship Performances since 2000
- SneakyWaff1es on 3/2/24 at 9:08 pm Clemson 44-16 over Bama should be #1 probably. At least if those scores from 1-4 are any indicator. ... Posted on SEC Rant Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Flyfishing question - SneakyWaff1es on 2/20/24 at 10:09 am
I find that I am either too heavy handed or too light
That’s me. I’m really bad at figuring out of I’m pressuring a fish too hard until my tippet breaks. Maybe I should just learn how not to be a ham handed Flinstone fly angler but I’m usually happier catching fish so I do that inste... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Flyfishing question - SneakyWaff1es on 2/19/24 at 6:29 pm Depends on the fish and the guy fishing. I’ve never gone trout fishing but a friend of mine in Washington goes a lot and he puts fish on the reel all the time. I almost never put fish on the reel unless it’s a fish that feels big for whatever my tippet is because the drag will protect the tippet bet... re: Shot Show is going to be lit!!! - SneakyWaff1es on 1/18/24 at 1:57 pm
2011 double stack is what I really want
RIA makes a double stack 10mm. It’s thiccc and gets very mixed reviews. My wife bought me a 9mm double stack from them that we’ve probably put 2000 rounds through at this point and it’s been very reliable. But the grip is pretty damn big. It’s n... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Shot Show is going to be lit!!! - SneakyWaff1es on 1/18/24 at 8:40 am Depends on what you’re looking for. There are plenty of polymer guns in 10mm and a bunch of single stack 1911s. re: DeBore’s First SEC Game - SneakyWaff1es on 1/13/24 at 9:25 pm I get Mark Richt vibes from him as a coach. As in he’ll be just shy of top tier.
