He posted it on social media and the boys in the Ram trucks showed up at school today and pulled him out.
Don’t know the kid or anything, just curious what he’s looking at?
I googled and the penalties are all over the place.

Agreed.
I can’t imagine an 18 year old not realizing how stupid killing it was and then magnifying that stupidity by putting it on social media.

Got a pic or a link?
I don’t. I’m assuming it was Snapchat or something like that that I don’t use that the younger crowd uses.
I watch the game warden shows on Animal Planet from time to time and they are frequently going out to snag people that post illegal kills on social media. So dumb.

Kid is screwed literally

Shouldn't even let him hunt. An 18 year old that makes the decision to shoot a bald eagle and post on social media about it just seems like someone who shouldn't be allowed that privilege.

I'll never forget, I was about 11 and scoped in on what I thought was a chicken hawk in the top of a cypress behind the house.
Something told me not to pull the trigger. Turned out to be a young eagle without his color yet.
ETA: farmers permit to assuage the easily offended sensibilities of the current outdoor board.

Green Jeans have been to school 3 different times talking to him but lack concrete evidence. He better watch his every move if he has any sense left at all.
