Yes lithium pack, tray as you described.
I have another 3.0 set up on 12v (feeder size battery) and it lasts about 2 months before the external is drained. DIY version, but no complaints.
Looking at Solar for my other cam due to location. Not having to touch it for 4-6 months would be far more convenient.

For those of you using/ recommending solar panels, are y'all running the tactacam panels or something else?
Any one have any experience with tactacam R5 Panel with built-in battery? I believe the R5 is their latest version.

I'm aware that 3.0s are notorious for battery consumption so I purchased the lithium cartridge for a 3.0 thinking it would be far superior to AA batteries. Camera settings are conservative and sending pics twice daily. 557 pics sent in the last 8 days, battery is down to 68%, which is no better than standard AAs.
Anyone experienced the same?
Guess I now need a solar panel. Are the tactacam panels worth a shite or should I look at others?

Ran by local Academy earlier (Houston area). They had a pile of 450 bushmaster and 224 valkyrie ammo 70% off.
Might be worth looking at you local store if you have either caliber in your arsenal.

Yeah, he struggles on Sunday, especially when entering the day close to the top. When inside the top 10, his Sunday average is +70 (2026).

I recently got a Warrior Systems Manufacturing Legionary 22. (22lr or shorts only, not for .17, 22mag).
Went to buy a gun for my son and ended up buying the suppressor on a whim. It was under $200, so I said what the hell. I was not impressed running supers. I shot 4-5 different subs. Did great with some, not so great with others. 970s were the ticket. Shooting Ruger charger.
Worth the $ being it was sub $200 but I if I had to do it again, I would have got something different. Just too many dang options these days.

In recent months, mine won't cycle consistently when using bx-25 or -15 mags. Flawless with the standard 10 rd mags. I recently added a kidd spring, the heavy spring) and it didn't improve things.
