Lone Star (red) currently. Buffalo trace later in the evening. Yes, trashy, I know.

Usually with GZD, you add it to your cart and the price will go down. Deal might be expired because I logged in and it didn't work

I went to order 500 arounds of the CCI 22lr posted above. Shipping was $25, so I passed. Is that the typical shipping cost for that site?

My 11 year old has an Apple Watch with cellular. Since he doesn't have an iPhone (and isn't getting one anytime soon), I paired it with my Apple Watch App. He can call, text, and we can track him using "Find My" on our phones. I control who his contacts are and who he can talk/text with. It only costs an additional $10 per month on our cellular contract.

That what we ended up with. Too many options for me. And not being the patient type, that just seemed like the easy out.
Want to get my 11yo a watch that allows call/text/tracking. Not looking for that that only works with a cell phone.

We use Xfinity (Verizon network, I believe) for cell phones. They have several options, but not real sure what other good options might be out there. Not against setting up a plan outside Xfinity or alike.

Other than call/text/tracking capabilities, my only real ask is that it have good battery life.

Both my wife and oldest son have apple watches. Lower end versions, I'm sure. Still expensive with absolutely terrible battery life.

Thanks

CMC Single Stage Drop-In 3.5lb Trigger - Flat - BLEM - 91503-B

Bought this one around Thanksgiving. Installed but not shot it yet. Feels like night and day difference compared to the stock trigger in my inexpensive PSA AR. Clean and crisp. Can't wait to shoot.

Now you got me wanting to give calling a try.

Any decent, cheap (or free) apps so I could run through phone and Bluetooth speaker? I'm sure a fox pro or alike would be better. Don't want to dive that deep into it (yet).

Yeah, it not hard. I just leave mine in a big tub of water until spring or whatever and then wash & bleach. They look better than the ones I've paid for.
If the base design allows for it you can roll it pretty easily using PVC pipe. Moved many deer stands this way. Moved a large playset from neighbors to my house using PVC, as well.
Didn't see a duck this morning but had a hunt we won't soon forget. We put 5 #4s in a boar hog. Only blood we found was on a decoy. Saw him running down the levee 20min later. Would have made an epic picture. Oh well, still had a great morning!

When my dad started taking me duck hunting in the 90s, I can honestly say I never remember them shooting a whole lot of ducks. What I do remember though, was loving everything about what we did out there and wanting to go back out there at every opportunity.

Same here

Now I see it in my youngest son. We hunted this morning and didn't fire a shot, at least at a duck. He did get 3 racoons and a Fox squirrel. Sat for an hour or so this afternoon on a creek just knowing he would at least get a shot at a wood duck. Nope, nada.

While putting him to bed we talk about what to do in the morning. Hunt or head back home. I was leaning towards the latter. He wants to go, so go we shall!

I think he is saying that COVID helped end that era... No more colorless colors.

I got 2 or 3 and they are still going strong! Wish I had the 110 on wheels, though.

This is tempting. Included 22lr and 22 wmr barrels. Takes Ruger 10/22 mags. Not an auto, though. Figured some folks here might be interested.

This one is also tempting. Semi-auto, 10/22
