Spend some time outside the South or Midwest, where the real money is, and see how your experience changes.

I've spent plenty of time on the coasts and my sister has lived in Austin for 28 years. My post still stands. But, my point, that clearly went over your head, was your anecdotal evidence is bullshite.

Because it got trendy. I've literally heard dumb whores say "my man has a lot of tattoos and is a bad arse", or "he doesnt have tattoos, so he probably cant defend you." Really, really dumb shite. They actually think because a guy has tats now(most copy and pasted from another person's idea) that the guy is tough.

Major difference between these hipster tatted guys and a 1 percenter with tats. Dumb whores just cant tell the difference.

I know more millionaires without tattoos than with tattoos. Seems tattoos are a hindrance.

What a stupid thing to say while calling someone stupid for using anecdotal evidence.

Avoid the sun for a few months after you get them. Wear sunscreen and they last. Pretty simple stuff. My oldest one is 10 years old now and looks brand new.

A lot of trouble to avoid looking trashy.

This one definitely hates her mom and dad and wants them to know it by getting a tattoo that hideous on her arm. It's bad enough now, but it's going to age even worse.

A better question might be...

How can they afford them?

I see some high school kids with a dozen nice looking tattoos. Aren't the nice looking ones really expensive?

small tattoos that may have personal meaning like an ironman tat.
Only Ozzy knows Ironman well enough for an Ironman tattoo to have personal meaning.

The average IQ of Americans with visible tattoos has got to be at least 30 points lower than the average IQ of Americans without. They are so trashy.

I think half of them end up working in kitchens.

I haven't seen a chef, line cook,etc who doesn't have tats.

I dont have any tattoos because while I do like them, I dont want to get something that Ill want removed in 5 years. I just cannot commit to puttinf something on my body forever.

Besides the people i see with face ir neck tats, I dont really judge people with tattoos. They are so normal, there are people im every profession with tattoos, albeit most are usually hidden under work clothes ( as they should)

Some of the trashiest people i ever met were east coast and west coast hipsters with $$$.

Hoosiers can get out of the trailer parks, but the trailer park is always still in them.

I’m 50 and I grew up where tats were mainly stereotypes for sailors, bikers, gangs or felons.

But if I saw them on actual peeps I knew, it was a flower/angel/heart on some girls wrist or some single large tat on a dude that was hidden under casual clothes.

I still hear people older than me say guys with tats were “trashy” and girls with tats were “sluts”.

Then something happened in the mid-90s when the “barbed wire” tat became as prevalent amongst the middle-class as suburban Dad’s riding Harley’s.

Ever since then, I’ve seen tats grow in acceptance from simply being visible...to full sleeve...to the ridiculous full body/face types. The perception is still mostly negative amongst older folks while the younger generations find it way more acceptable.

And my point, that Deep South social values about tattoos aren’t relevant outside a small group of people like the demographic that posts here, went over your head.
