I see a lot of people with quad canes, the ones with four little legs on them. They are not your grandma’s crooked cane.

I'm walking with a cane now. By necessity due to injury though.

I have a neighbor who gets out and walks and uses a cane. She's about 80 years old, but she's out there hot or cold.

I used a cane some after slipping a disk in my back last year. Using a rollator (4 wheels, bicycle handles, and seat) still at times.
Medicare gave Dad the whole kit except wheelchair when he got weak. Medicaid has offered same to me. Free, delivery and assembly included.
ETA: my paternal grandfather had 2, a daily and a fancy dress one. Have held armed canes too, both sword and pistol. (Barrel was the handle)

My uncle made me one recently out of a red cedar limb, Its freaking sweet.

My grandfather used one a little and he passed away in early 90’s. I’ve started wearing his custom boots and also got the cane after my dad passed.
I play basketball a lot and get hip soreness more as I get older. Maybe I’ll be using the cane soon. Might have to find a classic hat to go with it and will be set.
