Years ago I got a horrible sore throat at the beach. I went through a whole box of tylenol cough and cold/flu capsules. Went for regular blood work for lipids a few weeks after getting home and doc had a fit seeing my liver numbers were way up. Asked me if i had taken tylenold lately. i said a month ago. So she gave me something to treat that. Now I have early stage of kidney disease. Went in for horrile frozen shoulder that only advil would help. He said quit Advil forever and only use tylenol. I would have died with the shoulder pain without either of them to help, well, until the steroid medicine kicked in. But that isn’t good either. Ughlllll

Is there an outbreak of food poisoning linked to CB?

Not sure there is an epidemic at the moment, but we ate at the one in Lindale, TX, a couple of years ago. Both of us had a case of it that lasted a whole week. We had the meatloaf. Never again will we stop there or at any other CB. The new logo is terrible, and the inside looks like Chip and Joanna were there, complete with cutting boards from Ikea and those by now boring gray/white walls. It lost its charm. Could have left it alone and maybe decluttered a little if they had to do something.

I still miss that at times. I mean, your left foot is doing absolutely nothing and you don’t have to fiddle with the steering wheel area. I know, i am old.
Sorry I don’t know how to link a thread, but if you search for “rescission ” several have discussed and explained the process.

I grew up in Texas. It didn't mean anything then. It was mentioned in Texas History and a few blacks wore juneteenth shirts in the mid 90s when they started wearing all that Africa pride crap. No one ever celebrated it. It was simply a historical footnote.

I grew up in small town in north Louisiana, graduated in late sixties. Not sure when it started being celebrated. i just know my parents said don’t go to town that day. I thought i remembered it being on Saturdays but maybe not, as no one would be in town that day anyway. I really think that was not for safety but because it would just be crowded. Nothing ever happened that I know of.
Was this part of the reason they said today they were sending help for deportations in Louisiana and two other states?

And yet your very post is an assumption on your own part that the guy has to have been MAGA, damn the actual facts coming out.

Actually to Froman, but why would a Republican shoot her because she crossed over and helped Republicans pass the bill? Wouldn't it make more sense for a Dem to be mad at her for doing that?

So where was/is the one in Ruston? I am disgusted that many showed up. Probably crazy professors like you said. Raining now so maybe they are gone. Surely they won’t hang around past noon.
[quote]I didn't read every page in this thread, but has anyone pointed out that it's also boomers that are the most supportive of Trump? [quote]

I just got home from my class reunion where we celebrated our 75-year birthdays, although our ages range from 73-76. Most of us have college degrees, one with doctorate, Others were a retired vet, retired postal carrier, college professor, accountant, state government retirees, business owners, and a few housewives. Of course, we grew up in a small conservative town in South, but what little political talk we had was in favor of Trump’s agenda, against all woke nonsense, and the woke msm. I keep reading where the white, conservative, rural Christian educated people dislike Trump. Not so in my class, many of whom left for the big cities but still have the conservative patriotic beliefs they were taught growing up. As a boomer, I do not like being put down this way beng blamed for this mess. Those who do it will be old someday. Don’t forget that.

Her story as it related to Koby Bryant and his daughter was pretty awesome. She is good for the wnba.

And what was this? Apparently I missed it.

The one whose name cannot be mentioned was involved in that, right? I remember him in a pic with some shady characters.

I thought she looked very nice with her hair pulled back and all dressed up. Would like to have seen her whole self instead of just from waist up in the darkened “booth” they were in.

Cutest pic ever. Loving these dog pics being posted.
No idea what is going on, but cnn is at the jail with a crowd outside. Might be protestors. Didn’t watch.
Not replying to you specifically, but he thanked a gazillion people who helped and stood by him this whole time. I listened again, and he listed every family member by name except Melania. Did i miss that or am I totally deaf? Surely he did not leave her out?!
So the pen could be penitentiary?
