To quote Sam Kinison, " I am completely against violence against women..... I understand it, but I am against it.

Mutual combat. No charges for either one.

Good call. I'll edit if any shenanigans occur

both get some sort of public nuisance charge, and No one gets charged for confrontation.
She hit him, and she FAFO.
She hit him, and she FAFO.

Not, but you seem to be insinuating that there is a chance he could have not used reasonable force. And my point was that there isn’t really anything he can do that is less forceful than pushing her away from him. While she’s hitting him in the face, mind you. So I guess I just didn’t understand your point then, since it seems pretty obvious that he did not go beyond “reasonable force.”

Well, she should have kept her hands to herself.

If you are the initiator in an aggressive situation you should expect retaliation regardless of gender. She just learned a lesson.

That being said thankfully I have never been in a position where I felt I needed to. But at the same time I do not believe that blanket statement.

You're wrong.
In a large portion of instances, it would be extremely difficult to prove a person swinging fists is a "fear for your life" moment. MMA or NFL athlete? Yep. Jim Bob with the knowledge you have a firearm and you did NOT threaten/inform him? Probably. Nate from down the street just being an a-hole, probably not.

Hollywood tells me that women are badasses and can physically compete with men…….not guilty

He just pushed her away from him after being struck. Assault and battery by her. Self defence on his part.

Not guilty. He really just pushed her away and she fell. Never underestimate a big old heavy baw.
