Why have a summer break? Give the kids 2/3 weeks vacation they can use annually at the parent’s discretion if their performance is above passing and no behavioral issues.

Absolutely and especially when I travel I like try to remember this daily!
The Milan skip and spending an extra night in Lucerne was a great call after spending 2 hours in Milan train station. Venice was fun but hot and very crowded. The real gem was the train route I took out of Venice to Innsbruck then to Gramisch and to Munich. The views the entire way were amazing. I went Venice to Garmisch stayed the night and the train out of Innsbruck that day was amazing . The next day I had long travel day, I took the cogwheel up to Zugspitze, lift to peak, cable car down, cog to train station, then train to Munich(more great views). Now I am in Germany for a couple weeks. Thanks again for all the recs, btw after being in Europe for a couple weeks and wearing something branded often, the peak of Zugspitze was the first time I got a “geaux Tigahs” haha
If you have been around the OT long enough, we have covered this to great detail… although people active in that thread have since gotten new usernames

I bet an OT go fund me would spur an eviction and create an TD rental investment fund that would be profitable annually and twice as exciting to be part of
Took your advice, added a night in Lucerne, cancelled the Milan stop, and found an early train to Venice Friday

I went France, Belgium, and Netherlands last year and stopped in Bruges based on the boards feedback and still one of my favorite European cities. Stayed at the Grand hotel and did a chocolate/beer day tour on Viator and loved it, will be back

Wanted to give in game update in case someone thinks I need to pivot haha, finishing day 2 in Zurich today and so far I have planned- tomorrow Bern- Wednesday Lucerne-Thursday Milan- Fri, Sat, Sun Venice( due to point redemption and friends flying in for the weekend) beyond that is still up in the air.. thanks for all the advice so far
