But its ok because its SpaceX.
Correct. SpaceX is a rare visionary company and we all know there will always be some parasites who will always make everything difficult any chance they get.

This lawsuit would occur anywhere in America where they decided to build this place.

Sounds like an Edwin Edwards pal. A round about invitation for Elon Musk to grease some palms?
My suggestion - turn that rabid Louisiana AG on this bunch. You know the AG who told the SEC to get lost and that their lawsuit against LSU was moot.
She pounced on that SEC lawsuit like flys on a carcass.

Yep, I've been trying to discuss this very topic with the Naysayers around the southeastern part of of our fine state.
A majority of them have never been south of Lafayette or even have been to Pecan Island.
Yet they are convinced that Space X will exterminate the native bird and gator population. Several told me that the soil would be contaminated by natural gas spills. And also the local property owners would loose value on their homes because of the noise/vibrations.
It is almost like there exists some conspiracy to keep Louisiana from advancing. And these nimrods are convinced that Elon wants to destroy the state and turn it into another Love Canal.
These people need to frick off and go back to Connecticut and New York.

Remember how we got the lottery here and now the schools are the best in the nation
Y’all keep falling for carpetbaggers telling y’all that the state will get better you just have to give away a piece to make it work
Most of y’all would’ve supported Abraham Lincoln and welcomed Sherman down here with open arms

I agree with your post and wanted to upvote.
But I can't look pass this shite. Damn it, stop being stupid. How fricking hard is it for you people to learn basic spelling?

this isn't a gas station. Those people are going to get steam rolled so hard, they won't even realize they've been run over.

Classic retardation
Somehow Elon chooses frickin Louisiana to be the first step to the stars and our people can't just say thank you.

I think it is fair to expect public officials to be open to the public regarding matters like this. Signing NDA’s and operating in the shadows sure doesn’t seem in keeping with the expected transparency. If this development is truly as good for the area as claimed, it should be done in the open.
Idiots like the plaintiffs and our blood sucking plaintiff attorney class are why the ndas are necessary.
They don’t care about the environment
They want a payoff and are willing to put everyone in this state at risk to do so.
They should have to knock on the door and tell every child living below the poverty line that they are proudly taking away their family’s opportunity for a better life retirement and healthcare to exploit a loophole to get a personal payout

DOH!
busted. I'm not even going to change it. But still, screwing up "lose" and "loose" is just way too rampant.

Just legal extortion. Cut them a check and they’ll go away like always.

Imagine if Louisiana had Disney World AND SpaceX... the rest of the south would look to Louisiana as a model of economic growth but instead we bend over backwards to frick ourselves at the very idea of progress.

Do you know that Sherman was the first president of what became LSU?
Do you also know that the old Baton Rouge campus was given to LSU by the US Army in the 1870's and the Commanding General of the US Army at that time was Sherman?
