I don’t know. We got our kids all the basics and just had the doctor spread out the schedule a bit more. Won’t be getting HPV or any of those anytime soon. Got all the necessary ones to go oversees with them as well. Also didn’t think it was necessary to get a bunch of kids Covid shots.

I think there are plenty of normal thinking people out there they just aren’t as loud.

Agree, being a moderate is so difficult nowadays with all the non independent thinkers around us. I’m above both party affiliates. I do believe Covid and flu vaccines should be mandated from birth up though. I also believe we should have periodic government shutdowns and even private business shutdowns.

Yeah I don’t disagree with that.

I have a newborn and I told my pediatrician, who’s luckily my aunt, to give her whatever I got (I’m 36). I’m on the fence on anything that’s come out in the last 25 years.

And the fact that granola libs invented the anti-MMR-vax movement.

It couldn’t possibly be all the illegals that snuck over the border, all of which were unvaxxed.

I'm entertained by the idea that Americans being unvaccinated is good, because the vaccines are dangerous and poison, but illegals being unvaccinated is bad, because they're disease-spreading monkeys

and this, this is the true culprit.

Retards who think they know best because they have access to too much information and dont know how to process it. People who are happy to self assure themselves by finding like minded retards in online spaces, spreading their idiocracy.

This probably doesn’t happen but for 20 million + third world illegals being allowed to just walk across the border.

Not saying that isn't a part of the reason, but most (probably close to all) that surrendered themselves at the border were vaccinated as needed before being released into the interior. All of the unaccompanied minors were for sure.

If that were the main reason the outbreaks would be happening in places with high amounts of illegal populations, instead the main outbreaks are with Mennonites and Mormons.

I was gonna say,

quote:

Fueling the nearly 12-month outbreak: more parents opting not to vaccinate their children for school; infections hitting communities statewide; and lenient public-health policies on quarantining exposed students.

They forgot the biggest reason.

Not all vaccines are bad, just the flu and covid ones primarily.

Because the white folks who won't bother to use a wash cloth will insist that brown people are dirty and foment their own disease, obvs.

You sure about that? I have never seen that asserted anywhere. Where were said vaccinations performed?

The medical profession too.

The absurd overreaction to Covid really diminished the credibility in what was prior a profession people generally afforded a high degree of credibility. We live in a social media society of constant hyperbole. When everything is a catastrophe the nothing is a catastrophe. That's led to people not trusting their own doctors.

This is correct. But RFK Jr is part of this. He purposefully gives messaging that also makes the low IQ hesitant on all vaccines

He has said the MMR vaccine contains dead fetus cells. He has also said it’s extremely dangerous and parents should be skeptical of the vaccine saying its side effects are worse than measles itself. He has a massive hand to play in this

From previous interactions, lionward doesn’t strike me as someone who’s here to push an agenda, but rather knows a good deal about the legal immigration process due to his job. But I’ll say this:

My family and I travel between Houston and South Louisiana quite a bit. During the Biden administration, whenever we’d stop at the Texas-Louisiana border rest area on the Louisiana side, it wasn’t unusual to spend 10–15 minutes waiting in line for the men’s restroom because bus after bus of illegal immigrants would be stopping there.

The overwhelming majority appeared to be military aged men, so I’d be standing in line forever while my wife and toddlers walked right into the women’s restroom. Many had the same style backpack, a new set of clothes, and a cellphone.

The point is this: given how openly these transports of illegal immigrants were occurring, I find it hard to believe the government was thoroughly conducting health screenings and updating vaccinations before relocating large numbers of illegal immigrants throughout the country. Maybe they were, but based on what I personally observed, that certainly wasn’t the impression I came away with.

Children must receive follow-up care for identified conditions as recommended by the healthcare provider. Services should be requested following the process laid out in Section 3.4.3. Children must receive follow-up vaccinations in accordance with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) Catch-up schedule. Additionally, children in care for more than a year must receive an annual physical examination, which must include hearing and vision screening, and follow-up care for acute and chronic conditions.

ORR Policy Guide for children

Struggling to find an article for adults that doesn't focus on just the Covid vaccine, but I have seen the shot records first hand where adults were given vaccines while with CBP. From reading a little more it seems like it wasn't so much universal for other vaccines but dependent on the facility and their access to it. I say was because the amount of border paroles in the last ~17 months is nearly 0.

ETA: Preventable communicable diseases are another reason why a full on Biden era policy of parole and release is not good for the country as a whole.

To piggyback off what lion commented, when I worked as a records clerk in a middle school with a large ESL (English as a Second Language) population, most of the kids that came through that were immigrants had vaccination certificates. I had to send them over to be translated/transcribed to an official Kentucky certificate.

The highest group that had non compliance? Folks on Medicaid. Even when we held vaccine clinics coordinated with the local hospital/insurers, they didn't want to fill out the paperwork.

Fly out of any border airport and you could tell who was just released based on the knock off Crocs and matching sweatsuits.
