Went to one years and years ago. Never again. The bride was a coworker of my wife back then and I dropped her off near the chairs then went to park. Broke a sweat in the 2 minute walk to the seats without my jacket on. I put it on as I got close and in the 15 minute ceremony was sweating like crazy. Thankfully we all went inside this event space very quickly after it was over and they had the air running wide open. And open bar. But even that won’t get me back to another outdoor wedding between May and October.

Friend of mine had an outdoor wedding in July in Alabama a few years ago.

One guy in the crowd was in a camo Bama hat, jeans, and T shirt. Don't be that guy. Wear a suit and drink extra to offset the alcohol you're constantly sweating out

Unless unless I’m in a summer wedding I’ll either wear what the frick I want or I won’t go. Only retards schedule dress up shite in the summer.

Edit: Crucial point I left out. It's an outdoor wedding.
Outdoor wedding, be ready for any weather.

Own the fashion day by wearing this one year only Tennessee Oilers apparel:

You will see people in just a dress shirt for an outdoor wedding, but wearing a light jacket and tie with khakis would be cool. You can roll up your sleeves for the reception when you take the jacket off.

Funny, I went to outdoor wedding and I saw a guy wear white Bama polo shirt with shorts. I guess that's considering proper wedding attire for Alabama.

Yes. You can always take it off.

Invest in a summer suit or sport coat for the next event.

How well do you know the couple? Trashy folks?

If so, their kin won't show up in suits. Don't outdress them.

Don’t lower yourself. You know what proper attire is. Wear it.

I wore a jacket at a wedding off bourbon street in July a couple years ago. The service was quick and I wore a light jacket and sucked it up like a man.

If you give yourself the title of "co-" anything then that means you came in second. The sneakers probably knocked you down a notch.

It's not proper to overdress, either.

I've been there, and I felt like a turd in a punchbowl.
