Why would you be an a-hole for wearing seersucker?

Weddings and funerals always get a jacket, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Get a cold therapy gel pack and wear it under your shirt. No one will notice it and you’ll stay cool and not look like a heathen.

I had to wear a tux to an outdoor wedding on 4th of July once. Luckily it was in the Hamptons, so a bit cooler than LA.

You were probably wearing a fully lined think wool jacket. Of course you were hot.

It’s July. It would still be hot even if you were naked.

People who get married outside in LA during the summer are a bunch of inconsiderate assholes.

My ex GFs best friend got married and i expected a normal wedding so i show up in a 1500 dollar Italian suit only to find out this wedding is in middle of nowhere and groom and groomsmen have camo tuxes and all the guys attending have on jeans boots and PFGs.

Ultimate baw wedding. Luckily I had a change of normal clothes for the reception so I quickly changed into khakis and a polo to not be too out of place

I got married in July at sunset, but was still 90ish. Ceremony took 10 mins, told all my friends to take jackets off as SOON as we walked down aisle. They complied. We were inside within minutes. i was still drenched!

edit: It was a covid rescheduled wedding so July was only date we could use.

Outdoor July weddings in the south should be illegal

My friend's was in late July. Supposed to be cloudy but it was clear skies 96 degrees F. In the navy suits, it was over 100.

You couldn’t pay me to attend an outside wedding in the SUMMER.

fricking idiots. For a groom to agree to get married outdoors in sweltering heat & humidity is asinine to say the least. Think of the wedding party and what everyone's clothing will look like in a sauna for an hour or more.

My extended family on my mom's side is from Basile, and we always look out of place at weddings. All the men are in coveralls.

What grown man doesn’t wear a jacket to a wedding regardless of the time or month?

The last outdoor summer wedding I went to, all the men had their jackets off by the time they sat down in their chairs. Some even had theit shirt sleeves rolled up. If the bride wants me to wear a jacket, then don't schedule an outdoor wedding in Louisiana in July.
