Would you drink raw milk?

Cow’s milk. Last month the La Dept of Health announced that 11people had been sickened with 2 hospitalized after drinking raw milk from 3 different producers. I heard it tastes good and some people believe it’s healthy. How bout a big glass of cold raw milk?

Yes - I've been wanting to try it for some time and just never have. Even despite people getting sick.

My nephew drinks it and ended up in the hospital earlier this year. To my knowledge, that didnt stop him from continuing to drink it. I wouldn't consider him to be a deep thinker though.

I've tried it. There was nothing special about it other than having to drive to SC to buy it since I couldn't buy it in GA. That was kind of exciting.

There is a reason we evolved past the days of drinking raw milk. So for health reasons, i will not.

I sometimes buy it from a local farmer because it's delicious. Anyone claiming magical health benefits from it is full of shite.

Sure. I’ve done it a lot. It tastes great and is safer than eating raw oysters.
People on both sides of the matter have way too strong feelings about raw milk. It’s not a big deal either way.

My grandfather died from drinking and pasteurized milk. People would tell him he needed to drink pasteurize milk and he would say the cows are out in the pasture. Why do people fight science?

They gave incredibly vague details on this as well. You would think they would have given details on symptoms and severity of those affected, and where they got this milk from so people would particularly avoid those farms. They didn't provide any of that info at the time they initially released the article, not sure if they have since. but all the news around it seemed like they were just pushing an agenda.
Id still try it, a lot more people would have to get sick for me to be worried

There is an old saying that you avoid Oysters in months without an R.
So September to April is usually prime Oyster months. Although, I would be skeptical in September and October since it is still hot out there. April can be sketchy too if it gets hot too fast.

I saw a video a while back of a woman milking a cow and whining about "GMO" foods and how terrible they are for everyone. Her obvious blindspot aside, the most concerning part of the video was the multiple chickens heard and seen in the background of her milking video.
She, and anyone consuming that raw milk, have bigger immediate concerns than GMOs.
