It’s gonna be a mess for the school that starts getting cases in August since we dont have the anti-virus yet.

Was speaking to a teacher I had in HS.
Kids were using Coronavirus "fears" to get out of tests etc before lockdown.
They'll continue to milk it.
You'll see schools open but they'll accommodate all the bratty kids and the "Karen's".

Our Supt. emailed us this evening and we are planning for online instruction for the Fall semester of the 2020-21 school year. From speaking to other university faculty, they are also planning the same. Be prepared all, schools are not going to re-open, it appears, until a vaccination is there unless something massive in testing or data can show otherwise.

You talking college/university? Or K-12? And where? I know Louisiana is nowhere near making these kinds of determinations for K-12. Hell, they still haven't finished figuring out how to finish this school year.

I keep seeing this cited as a reason to close things for the fall. There will not be a vaccine (barring some amazing change) available to the masses until at least April of next year. Waiting for a vaccine is not a realistic scenario.
