Situation is too fluid to predict at this time. Hopefully things will settle as we move into summer. I am also hoping that people will have a chance to step back and reflect on what a mistake these blanket shutdowns have been over a virus that kills less than .5% of the people that get infected.

No, Roger had it right. The current school model is atrocious. The virtual school program is one step above useless. The school board DoE is constantly sending out emails/communications about how well they are doing getting every one on line. Big freakin deal if the content is basically generic brand wild kratts and sesame street. I hope to God this isnt what they are getting in school. We have a weekly 30 min call with the class....and that's just stupid. 30 min of 22 second graders on a zoom call..yeah...that's atrocious. And to question his "parenting" ....that's one edgy take there. 1/3 of the school yr is missing..but day cares are open. Must be nice to have that guaranteed teacher salary

Academia should be very concerned as to how they will indoctrinate all of our children into the progressive mindset if this is the path they plan to take.

If educators are waiting for a vaccine, then it might take longer than the 18 months that Bill Gates thinks. It would be great if they could do it sooner, but I don't see how realistic it could be to keep K12 education at an online basis until 2022.
How many years did it take for a vaccine for HPV and how long have they been working on HIV?
There was promising news with a Gilead drug last week.
The Superintendent of District 214 schools (IL) said that one of their students likely died from the corona without evidence, unless he has more information than the student's family that said their son tested negative.

I’m gonna say something between B and C.
First, there is no way to have any kind of social distancing at school, so if COVID19 is still around this would guarantee a second wave.
Second, don’t be surprised if teachers claim it unsafe and threaten to not return unless certain things are changed to ensure a safe work environment.

AND even if we had one tomorrow how many would take it?? Not me right away -- especially if it's by chance from China.
