I used the forcing as hyperbole. Obviously nobody is holding a gun to my head.

Then STFU and order some steak teriyaki and sing "Happy Birthday" to the poor girl

Y'all are freakishly cult-like with your devotion to the shite. That said I don't look down on people who eat bait.

Cult like and devotion would be words to describe something unusual.

Sushi is not unusual. It is "normal" food. There's nothing weird or uncommon about it.

Most of the people I've encountered that don't like sushi haven't been to a good sushi restaurant.

That's most likely me. I tried some off a tray at a party. Not sure who catered it but I found the taste of it disgusting. Still remember the taste of it more than 5 years later. Haven't had any desire to try it again.

I realize that "sushi" doesn't necessarily mean eating raw meat, but that is what most people think of. That being the case, there is nothing "normal" about eating uncooked meat, whatever it may be. You may believe your statement above, but it just isn't true, especially for Americans.

I think for a lot of people it's a new cuisine and after years of avoiding it they find out they love it so they try to share it with other people. Some people can't handle that, I guess.

You're wrong. It's extremely common.

Nah, I pretty much summed up the two people who don't like sushi fairly well. Sushi is an incredible spectrum of dishes and combinations of food. How someone doesn't "like" sushi just shows their ignorance of food overall, but some people just don't care that much about food anyway.

This is assine. If you really believe it I feel sorry for you.

We should only eat fully cooked meat the way Lord Jesus intended.

Sushi is an acquired taste...alot of sexy women have already acquired said taste.

Girls that like raw fish in their mouths...tend to put other things there too.

Sushi is really good for you and has plenty of health benefits if you eat it in moderation.

It is her birthday if you dont like the food order a pizza.

Yep, and after the 4th or 5th time I tried "the best sushi in the world" I quit trying. Horrible, nasty crap.

I will eat a rare Ahi tuna steak, with steamed veggies though. Does that count?

What would you guess the ratio of regular fish houses to sushi bars in the US is? Gimme a break.

Yeah, I think I'm catching on to the narrative here, not that there's anything wrong with that.

You see, we're not talking about the durian fruit where it is widely accepted as being one of the most terrible things a human being can eat. We're talking about sushi, which is more than likely enjoyed and revered by 95% of the world's population. I would bet there isn't a professional chef alive that doesn't respect/appreciate/love sushi because of how simple yet phenomenal it is. I would also be willing to bet that there is a huge correlation between the very tiny percentage of people that actually don't like sushi such as yourself, but have also either not tried it or have tried crap sushi. Id also be willing to bet that that same group of people also correlate with shitting on craft beer and are major supporters of the BLM crowd. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just making observations.
