This is what I don't get about folks like the OP. He may as well be saying "can you believe she makes us go to an Italian place and I don't eat pizza." Well order something else.
Get a soup, or a noodle dish or rice or tempura or teriyaki or....
Don't go on your own but to act all upset by the idea that some rolls have roe on them (which you can ask not to get on them if that is the issue) and some girl is forcing this on you once a year
