You're also the moron that claimed bluefin tuna were regularly being caught near the coast of the Tampa area!
Idiot!

gayer
Carry on, closet boy.

Let me say this. I don’t think crawfish are worth the effort, dusted or not.

I ain't offended at all if YOU do it to YOUR crawfish. I just dont want unrepentant dustings on MY crawfish that I'M expected to eat.
Dusting is a sin and don't invite me if you are that kinda sinnah...I will pay for, cook and eat my own crawfish the real way rather than have free crawfish the wrong-arse dusted way!

Dusting crawfish means you don't know how to boil them correctly
Boil them correctly and you'll never want that garbage again
Just learn how to season your water like an adult, instead of serving people bland garbage
I managed a seafood store in SELA for 5 years and never once did I think dusting was the way to go... thats some new garbage yankee shite... frick off you pretender
Cook it right the first time... fooookin yanks

You answered your own question.

Why are some baws so offended over dusting crawfish?
First of all, offended is definitely the wrong word. Nobody's "offended" that you dust. That's your choice.
It's more of a point-and-laugh deal.

Why bother? Crawfish season is over.

Dusting crawfish puts the first and only taste your tongue sees as straight heat. No flavor, not really salt, just spice. I view people that dust as the same people that pretend eating raw Carolina reapers or raw ghost chilis taste good.
While creole and Cajun food is ultimately spicy, it’s not spice forward. The food should taste good first, and the spice should build as you continue to eat it. Having the spice on the outside of the shell makes its spice first, and if you’re lucky favor later.

Dusting does NOTHING except get the spices all over your fingers.
Same thing as a steamed seafood or a low-country boil. They add the spice after the seafood is done, so the seafood has ZERO flavor.

Same with all the bullshite besides corn and potatoes people put in the Crawfish. It’s because their Crawfish are crap.
Mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, garlic, and sausage are not bull shite. Also, I love soaking cauliflower and green beens when I add the mushrooms. These veggies soak up the flavor and taste delicious while also not adding an additional taste to the pot.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I watched a video of someone putting frozen ravioli in their boil, and no lie, I may give it a go to see how it tastes.
