what you're referring to is attention behavior of low intelligence women which is highly reinforced by their pack of low intelligence friends.

Similar to this, I'm 30 and it seems like a lot of people my age are obsessed with having "haters."
It's very odd to me, I doubt anyone cares THAT much anyone else's life outside of some very specific instances (crazy ex or something).

When our country was founded Thomas Jefferson wrote extensively about the importance of the American ethos of self sufficiency. We made our own clothes. We made our own food. The yeoman farm was the standard household. Female behaviors were not such a mystery because the population saw farm animals behaving like farm animals.

Same here. My wife HATES to let things go. When her daughter was in high school she still had tons of baby clothes and toys that I finally convinced her to give to her brother out of state who had just had a baby girl with his wife over in Atlanta.
I've threatened to back the truck up to the front of the house and start making a clean sweep in the laundry/storage room. That usually gets her to making a few trips to Goodwill.

I’ve found that it helps when you comment on their post and call them attention whores directly.
