I didn't say it bothered me. I am genuinely curious at to why people are so quick to jump to the Israelis' defense. People tend to act like they have a dog in the hunt when they don't.

Not saying Israel is a great ally to the US, but they are at least an ally. Extremist Muslims on the other hand are rabidly anti-American and pretty much hate everything about Western culture. Many want to kill us. Our enemies support Hamas. Seems pretty easy to pick a side as an American for me.
Also I think there is still a bond from WWII when the allies, including the US, basically freed multi-generations of Jews from captivity and death.

I agree. Israel is far from perfect and deserves tons of criticism. Mossad isn't always a good actor, and they aren't great about their treatment of Palestinians, or Arab Muslims in general, but a lot of the woke memes are very much anti-Jew not anti-Israel.

To answer your question, I know a number of Jewish people including extended family. I also have old friends that live in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Isreal and are in the line of fire.
