That's the Muppet Show. Not Sesame Street.

Sesame Street went straight ghetto after Mr. Hooper died and they turned his store into a Triple S. Gordon likes that $4.99 dark meat special.

Big Bird
Since he isn't called "Biggest" Bird, are we to assume that there is at least one, maybe more, truly gargantuan birds that reside on Sesame Street?

I was watching Sesame Street this morning with my kid and actually wondered when did Elmo get to be so popular. I don't remember him being so prominent in the mid-80's when I was watching

I'm a big fan of Bookworm. He's Teller in Penn and Teller. While not much of a talker, he brings substance and a bulk of the material.

Yeah, he was just a bit character when I was a kid.
I assume his popularity exploded after the Tickle Me Elmo doll took America hostage many Christmases ago, but I could be wrong.

Murray carries Sesame Street on his red furry back all day every day.

Grover is the answer man. The Monster at the End of This Book was one of the greatest children's books of all time. That's a fact.
