That's what the "Tentative" response is for. And, just to play their game, I don't bother adding a reason for the "tentative" response either.

Coworker next to me is always nervous. Every time he receives work he belts out we don't have any budget for this, when someone quits he thinks we going to have a layoff. It's all doom and gloom to him.

How do they know if they are in the minority or majority unless they ask??

The one that isn't my superior and sends me an email asking a question about something when they can very easily take 1 minute to research themselves. I usually ignore.

The one who talks behind everyone's back to you assuming that you agree and want to partake in talking shite behind your coworkers' backs.

The one that acts like its unfair if I leave the office to work from home when her duties require her to stay in office.

The one who bitches when there is a logistics problem as if its not his job to figure these things out. God forbid you have to do your job.

eta: oh yeah, two more: the one who wants to have a loud conversation with someone else in the office right by my desk when I am trying to talk to a customer.

the one who feels like its their duty to keep tabs on other people's work schedules when A. they aren't my boss and B. what I am doing has absolutely no effect on their work. and then whines to the manager about it.

I worked with a guy like that. This yat would drive all the way from the West Bank to our office in Covington, arrive at like 9:30, and at 10:45 it was "y'all wanna head over to Copeland's maybe?".

I think I can be your perfect cubicle neighbor.

Now what do I say?
“BYE REAL LOUD”

Or

“ ARE YOU LEAVING EARLY, AGAIN.”

I sat across an aisle to all types and the one that was the most aggravating was the “loud” guy. Everything he did was loud from pen tapping to conference calls on speakerphone. And, he talked over people to get his point across. Here’s to the Loud Guy!

The person who thinks they are the SME of everything and is terrified to say, “I don’t know.” I can’t tell you how much rework has had to be done due to these people.

The person that can’t make a decision on their own in case they are wrong so they are asking you for help so it will be a “mutual” decision.

Also

The one that sends an email with every thought that crosses his/her mind.

The one that tells me she is way behind on scanning my shite in. However, every time I see her she is always at someone's desk talking about toasters or some shite.

The "let's have a themed little party" co-worker.

We can do a Christmas get together pot luck whatever.... but there is always that one co-worker who wants to make it an over the top themed affair then get all exasperated when you..an actual adult, didn't dress up or want to participate in some stupid shite game.

I get that from my boss sometimes. I receive an email from her, and I get midway through reading the first sentence when she calls and asks, "did you see my email?"

The most annoying co-workers though are the ones who are "out sick" an inordinate amount of times. We used to have one woman who would miss 5 or more days a month, and blame a gluten allergy. However, she curiously never missed Fridays when people would go to happy hour after work, and she drank like a fish.
