I'm not going to use generation labels bc it's not always the young ones - new employees who think they already know everything and let you know it by giving their input instead of absorbing and learning the culture and job first.

Also, the cheerleader types who first thing in the AM write inspiring messages like "Good Morning to the best team ever, you rock. Hope everyone has a fantastic (insert day of the week add stupid meme to message)".

Easy. It is the sumbitches that copy 20 people on email that has nothing do with 19 of them....and they mark it as "important."

We have one guy who is just nasty as all hell. He refuses to use the urinals in the bathroom for some reason. So he always goes to one of the two stalls and pisses all over the seat and doesn't clean it up. He also dips and will fill a 32oz Gatorade bottle about 3/4 of the way full with dip spit. Now I have no issue with dippers, as I still partake every now and then, but I try and be discreet with it. This guy just leaves them sitting on his desk and catching a glance of that much fricking dip spit turns my stomach every time.

We had a guy who got caught setting emails to autosend from 1-3am so our boss would think he was pulling an all nighter. That guy was the worst.

Not just the office but life in general... That person that you have a "hey how you doing?" .. That becomes a 10 min autobiography ... That you have tried hinting several times that it's time to move on, but somewhere you made a encouraging jester and that person just kept talking, but then at the finality...makes it seem like you have kept them and they are late for something. Im like..." I wanted to end this a long time ago.. It's not my fault" but they have already hung up or walked away

This would be our CEO. He also will pour himself a cup while its brewing and let it drip all over the counter and not clean it up.

Most annoying to me are the ones who declare themselves the hall monitors and keep note of how many times someone is 15 minutes late or leaves an hour or so early. Usually this role is claimed by a woman.

I hate the ones that feel like they need to make sure they say goodbye real loud if someone is leaving early just to make sure everyone sees that someone left early. Mind your own business if someone is leaving early.

On the other side of the same coin, I had one at my last job who made a big deal in the Teams with my supervisor in it about "where am I" when I was 15 minutes late to work. There was nothing going on in the office, I was literally just going to be sitting at my desk staring at the wall.

Besides toxic work environments, I just ask, to get along as colleagues, that my coworkers just find some form of mutual interest to talk with me about. There's nothing more painful than hearing a long-winded "chit chat" story about something I don't give a crap about.

The guy that says hello to you every one of the 56 times he crosses your path everyday. The only time he does not say hello to you is when you are carrying something that requires both arms and then he waves at you.

I've worked with a few Karen types who would write down and report any wrongdoings by other employees. Stupid shite, like taking a personal phone call or taking too long in the bathroom. Luckily one got fire, and the other, we made her work life so miserable she transferred.

We have one of these. She literally keeps a log with people's initials by each entry. We found it in her desk looking for a file several years ago. She has never done anything with this log other than gripe and bitch to this other girl who's too nice to tell her to beat it. This other girl then tells us later what she says about everybody. I think she just keeps this log of 'transgressions' for personal satisfaction.
